Hidden Models and Faction Benifits; Assassin in a plague monk unit

So, I can hide a Clan Eshin assassin in a plague monk unit. Does it gain bonuses that are specific to Pestilens from, say, a Plague Furnace? What about if a Plague Claw scatters on to the unit? Does the hidden assassin get affected (as its not Nurgle)?

Or am I just overthinking?

If it doesn't have the relevant keywords, it doesn't get the benefits - it doesn't gain any from the unit it hides in. Regarding the plague claw, if it's not set up it can't be affected. Burnif it has been, then ta-ta...

While the assassin's hidden in the plague monks he isn't technically on the board yet and can't be damaged. Once he's been set up he uses the keywords on his warscroll (and had to immediately shower after the battle).
