Taking points into consideration, what would be the better build? I would not be using it as my general. The lord seems good because his damage output does not decrease like the mount does as it takes damage, and the sorcerer lord seems good as well because he is only 100 points more than an unmounted lord, however he does not have the deamonic power spell. Avindskjold Posted September 18, 2016 Share Posted September 18, 2016 The Chaos Lord would be the one I'd go with; as you mentioned, he doesn't lose out on damage output. Considering that the Lord is more dangerous than his mount, this is a good thing! His command ability, though it only affects Chaos Warriors, is good. The Sorcerer Lord on Manticore is less killy, and considering the Manticore itself falls behind the normal Lord, this option seems less attractive. The Wind of Chaos spell can be great on good rolls, otherwise, it is unpredictable. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Play with both and choose based on your play style, the rest of your army or the scenario you are playing.
