Ignore spells in Aos 3.0

Hi folks!

Let me ask this: if I have a unit that ignore spells with a dice roll (not the only wounds, but the whole effect) and the opponent cast an area spell (like "Eclipse" spell from the Lumineth) I can roll the dice to ignore it?

If you get the ignore effect off, I would say yes, you’ll even ignore the damage that you would usually take.
