Damian Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 So, after a previous discussion about General-only command abilities (such as Orgy of Slaughter from Daughters) I decided to take the question to the Warhammer World guys on a recent trip with the stated question... Since the tomes (Deepkin and Daughters) have command abilities requiring a General to use were issued before the GHB 2018, does the GHB2018 rule that all heroes can use command abilities without no longer needing to be the General take president over the older tomes? Azamar Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 Although those battletomes predated AOS 2.0 they were written with it in mind, which is why the requirement to be the general started to appear in some command abilities- the deepkin faction focus stated as much. Older abilties never used to say you needed to be the general to use them as it was in the base rules that only the general could use the abilities anyway.
