Realm artifact for ally hero

Hi guys

Can an ally hero in my army take a realm artifact? I know they can’t take artifacts from my allegiance book.

The official Azyr app allows me to take a realm artifact for him.

So that's a clear no!

I would say you can and I believe that even WarCom said something similar. The rules only say an ally cannot take allegiance artifacts and spells but can cast endless spells so I would put a realm artifact as allowable.
