Are Prayers counted as an Allegiance Ability?

If I have a allied Priest in my Stormcast Eternal Army, can he still use the prayers found in the SCE battletome? I just bought  an Excelsior Priest, was this a mistake   ?

Yes, when we look at page 116 in the battletome. Prayers are an underpoint of Allegiance Abilities, like Artefacts or Spells.

Also "Stormcast Eternals Army" is something like a synomym to "Army with Stormcast Eternals Allegiance".

Sadly, he can't, but he is quite good for his points, bringing in gryph hound, healing and unbinding spells
