Screwface
Does anyone know the height of any of the Mordor Trolls or Troll Chieftains from the LotR model range? I'm looking to use one in a conversion but don't want to waste the money if it's not tall enough for what I need.
michu
LotR use different scale - 25 mm, so that Troll should be smaller than AoS one.
Screwface
Thanks, yeah I know the LotR scale is different but they look like pretty big models and come on 60mm bases. I need it to be 6cm tall minimum in order for it to fit what I'm going for. 1 minute ago, michu said: LotR use different scale - 25 mm, so that Troll should be smaller than AoS one. Compare that to Warhammer trolls who are the size of ogres (especially the classic trolls). So the scale gap translates to LOTR trolls being on par with warhammer size. But not much bigger. Heres the cave troll next to warhammer ogres Isengard (same kit as Mordor) Troll next to paint bottles I think 6cm may be pushing it, unless you get the really massive Hobbit trolls (the plastic or FW ones). Crashnarf
The "old" metal mordor's troll is 2,5 feet tall. So bigger than any stormcast and approximately the same size than a minotaur. But the sculpture is thinner.
Screwface
Cool, thanks all. The photos helped, and if it's the same size as a minotaur that will work for me. Thanks again.
