Dmuerto
According to rules the player who finishes up setting units first can decide who takes the first turn Does putting units to a grave count as setting up a unit or can the death player just declare they are in the grave? Fluttershy
according to the rules it's a "set up" for example grand host of nagash: The Unquiet Dead: After territories have been determined, but before any units have been set up, you may pick up to 2 points in your territory and up to 2 points anywhere on the battlefield to be gravesites. You may wish to place suitable markers on these points. Instead of setting up a SUMMONABLE unit on the battlefield, you can place it to one side and say that it is set up in the grave. You can do this with as many units as you wish. nighthaunt: FROM THE UNDERWORLDS THEY COMENone is safe from Nagash’s vengeance, for the Nighthaunts can be summoned forth from the underworlds by their spectral overseers, appearing as if from nowhere to assail their prey. Instead of setting up a NIGHTHAUNT unit on the battlefield, you can place it to one side and say that it is set up in the underworlds as a reserve unit. You can set up one unit in the underworlds for each unit you set up on the battlefield. At the end of your movement phase you can set up any of these units more than 9" from any enemy models. This counts as their move for that turn. Any units which are not set up on the battlefield before the start of the fourth battle round are slain. Honk
The grave sites are „deployed“ with... and then fluttershy was faster... XD every unit on your list is being deployed singly, either on the battlefield, in a gravesite or in Azyr, the underworld or in ambush. Only battalions combine several units into only one deployment drop, reducing your drop count.
Dmuerto
Another follow-up question: Can one death hero "use" several gravesites at one time? For example summon 3 x units of skeletons on three different gravesites at the same time at the same turn? And is it 10 skeletons or can it also be 20? Honk
45 minutes ago, Dmuerto said: Can one death hero "use" several gravesites at one time? The rulebook says (translation from me) : ...at the end of your movement phase, for EACH of your Death Heros within 9“ of A gravesite, you can set up ONE unit (deployed within gravesites) wholly within 9“ of that gravesite, at least 9“ away from enemy models... So the hero can use EACH gravesite within 9“ ONCE to summon a unit deployed „in the grave“. Only SUMMONABLE units may be deployed within gravesites, but no size restrictions or placement restrictions apply. f.e. declaring to deploy 3 units „within the grave“: 10 black knights, 40 skellis and 5 wolves during deployment phase at the start of / before the game. Then, whenever one of your heros in within 9“ of a gravesite at the end of your movement phase, you can choose to use that gravesite to summon ONE of those three units, if set up rules allow it. If the hero is within 9“ of two gravesite you could summon ONE unit from EACH of the sites (or 3 units from 3 gravesite). where you choose to set up which unit is your problem, but remember, that units which were not deployed during battle count as casualty afterwards.
