I finished painting them in May, I just didn't want to post the pictures because they came out too dark. I need to adjust my photo setup so the lamps are closer to the minis. Nevertheless I finally decided it's better to post some pictures that are too dark than to post nothing. Bloodreavers Blood Warriors Khorgorath HQ All together I ended up buying the HQ that were not included in Thunder & Blood from a popular internet auction site because let's face it, Bloodsecrator and Mighty Lord of Khorne are cool miniatures and I had to have them in the end. While I enjoyed painting all of these, the Blood Warriors were my least favorite: too much gold trim, and I kept finding little mistakes I had to touch up. Also I based the Khorgorath on a 60mm round because to me it looked like he was surfing on the oval base. I don't play AoS, so the base size doesn't matter for gaming. Tommy
+1 for Khorgoraths on rounds, the surfing effect is multiplied when you have a few of them sidestepping their way up the battlefield! ?
Praecautus
Fantastic khorne army! I used to hate painting the trim. One tip I learnt for the trim is to paint the gold first and then the coloured armour plates. Don't worry about being tidy with the gold as the you can clean up with the armour colour. It's made painting the battle line far more bearable.
