KillJoy895
ROIGHT so I’m not overly sure if I can have Arkhan as the general in a grand host of Nagash list but it doesn’t say you can’t? Could be wrong if so please correct. Anywho...here’s the list. Arkhan the Black - 320 Vampire Lord - 140 Wight King with Baleful Tomb Blade - 120 Tomb Banshee - 80 40 Skeleton Warriors w/ ancient spears - 280 40 Skeleton Warriors w/ ancient blades - 280 2 Morghast Archai w/ spirit halberds -220 10 Grave Guard w/ great wight blades - 160 10 Grave Guard w/ great wight blades - 160 10 Black Knights - 240 -2,000 or a slight variation. Arkhan the Black - 320 Vampire Lord - 140 Wight King with Baleful Tomb Blade - 120 Necromancer - 110 40 Skeleton Warriors w/ ancient spears - 280 30 Skeleton Warriors w/ ancient blades - 240 2 Morghast Archai w/ spirit halberds -220 10 Grave Guard w/ great wight blades - 160 10 Grave Guard w/ great wight blades - 160 10 Black Knights - 240 -2,
Dracothjay
List 2 is better IMO for the simple reason if having a necromancer. Spell selection from lore of the dead are all so crucial and you need debuffing spells in your army.
KillJoy895
I’m most likely gonna build both anywho mainly because I wanna paint a Banshee but yeah that was my opinion also, vanhels Danse just kinna seems to good to pass up on, and the additional regen

The only stipulation is that if you include Nagash then he *must* be the general regardless With regards to the lists, I'd drop the Wight King for a Necromancer in both lists. The Wight King just doesn't justify the points cost in it's current state - a Necromancer is able to cast spells, has the same DI and is able to pass wounds off onto a nearby skeleton unit for 10 points less than the Wight King. AverageBoss
Agreed with the above. The Wight King is pretty worthless atm unfortunately. You get so much more out of a cheaper Necromancer, or slightly more expensive Vampire Lord.
Dracothjay
The only way I could ever see a wight king being viable is in a legion of sacrament list with the dark acolyte trait, which allows him to become a wizard and select from the lore of the dead.
