Lord Aquilor Questions

1)If I take a Lord Aquilor in an Order list ,does he get a Gryph-Charger Trait ?

 

2) If a Lord Aquilor uses his command ability and he is removed from the table while in combat along with some Palladors , does this count as a retreat  , and stops them from shooting or charging ?

My understanding was that mount traits are part of SCE allegiance, so in this list he wouldn't?

You only get mount traits under SCE allegiance (pg. 94 and 100 of SCE battletome).

Using his ability is not a retreat as it is A: not a move, ad B: does not occur during the movement phase.
