Hi,

I couldn't find if anyone asked that before.

How do the allies work? On the Warscroll Builder I can have 400 points of allies for 2000 points army.

Does it work that way, that if f.e. I take a canon from the ironweld arsenal (180 points) and put it with the fyreslayers army (in total with the canon 2k)  I will be still able to choose the Fyreslayers allegiance?

If you intend to build an army using the matched play rules, the General's Handbook 2017 is a must have reference. That spells out that yes, a 2000-point army with 1600+ points of Fyreslayers and 400 (or fewer) points of appropriate allies still qualifies for Fyreslayers allegiance.

Again, get the GHB2017. If you're playing matched play, you can't beat the return on investment.

Page 76, though really the whole Pitched Battle section from 75 to 79 is helpful.
