Slaves to Darkness - Slaanesh

While I was going through and updating links in my main thread I thought I'd put up some slaanesh Slaves to darkness stuff I did for a throne of skulls.

I wanted these to look gritty but also to glow at the same time, as if their armour always stays untarnished, if not battle scarred.

 

Marauder Horsemen converted with Hellstriders.

Very subtle, but you need to cut the sides of the horse away to get the rider to sit properly - but the effect is really worthwhile.

 

Chariots pulled by seekers - they just play nice.  only thing you have to do is build up the difference in the height under the seekers' feet so as to be able to touch the base, that way you don't have to chop the chariot yokes.  Marauder flails provided the wheel ornaments.

I always like the idea of seekers being almost iridescent and glittery as if they had fish scale like metallic hints and highlights, so I tried to capture that as well.

Very cool. Saw your hellstriders before but never the chariots. Love the little conversions such as the flails
