Erdemo86
Hi guys, i want to put a Frostheart Phoenix into my stormcast army. But i want stormcast to sit on him not a highelve. What would be the best bits to make conversion like that. Need your tips.
Snoe
The chair and rider from the Stardrake kit springs to mind. Might be a bit to big thou. There is a problem that most riding Stormcast have their legs modeld directly to the sides of their mounts sides. Good luck, will be interesting to see what you come up with! stato
Would the existing Elf legs work ok with a slimer stormcast, like Neave Blacktalon or the female stormcast from Shardspire?
MyGeekyPersona
I would look through the sprues for all of the mounted stormcast (and maybe even other armoured mounted models) and check out which have separate legs / saddles. I know that the pallador legs and bodies are separate from their mounts, which might be helpful depending upon how the Phoenix rider mini is constructed? If you're feeling very ambitious, you could always look into adding wings to a lord aquilor as a way to achieve a counts as stormcast Phoenix!
