Also Blood Bowl releases can be relevant to AoS, ie Orc Team to 'Ardboys conversions.

“I am expecting Skaven later this year, and as far as I know there will be “some” repacks but also plenty of nasty new additions (I seem to recall it’s much more of a Skyre type affair this time around with new technologies/weapons etc.) but I wouldn’t be surprised to see some new plague monk type things. These currently seem to be the favoured skaven subfactions for GW, hopefully the new book will clarify what Skaven are like in the new setting and their backstory from leaving the old world and what they’ve done since arrival etc.”

I suspect that we'll see a Nurgle combined tome later this year which rolls Clan Pestilens into a three-part Children of Nurgle force: Mortals, Daemons, and Clan Pestilens. The plague priests will likely get Nurgle Prayers. This fits right in line with their current design trajectory and remakes one of those prior tomes.
I would not expect any beastmen with this tome, or any other models in general. They cannot make a Nurgle battletome without at the very least putting out a new Great Unclean One.
Khorne has one, Tzeentch just got one. Slaanesh is taking a nap, so they can wait. But Nurgle really really need a new Greater Daemon kit, plus they could bring out Ku'gath again as a special GUO :-)

That doesn't really look like it's supposed to be underground..?
Or is it a big cavern on the bottom and sides of a tower on the top part?
That there is a Stormcast on the front, doesn't really bother me. It's like there is a Marine in most 40k stuff. Who cares. :-)

Sorry, seems it messed up and posted it a couple of times, and now I cannot find a way to delete the excess posts?
Maybe a mod can help out? :-)

The new Lord of the Rings minis look really cool, especially the new terrain kit, It looks ripe for Sigmarifying
I agree, that is a very nice piece of terrain, which would be perfect for AoS. I doubt they will sell too many of them though at the price it's listed at now, which is a real shame.

I wouldn't mind paying that subscription fee, but then they would also have to be more committed to actually keeping the app up to date with the current warscrolls and what not.

It looks like the end of a Psychic Hood on a terminator armour to me.

Gravely wounded perhaps?

Your plans sounds good :-)
In terms of a 2vs1 Battleplan, I guess the most obvious one would be an Ambush - The two weaker warbands have conspired to take the leading warband and divide the loot between them. So one weak warband draws out the strong warband, knowing that the other weak warband are waiting in cover ready to charge from cover and attack the strong warband in the back.
Would be interesting if it allowed for either of the weak warbands to switch side or maybe simply run away and leave the other to its doom, if they could see the battle going against them.

Keep up the good work, and really looking forward to seeing what you come up! :-)
Would you consider making one of the 5 Battleplans possible to play it 2 vs 1, so two lower rated warbands could gang up on another warband that is double their rating?

@Chris Tomlin Looking forward to listening and learning - Just got the Thunderfist Battleforce & 2 boxes of Savage Orruks, so Ironjawz & Bonesplitters will be my 2017 project, and I certainly need some hints on how to get the most out of them apart from shouting WAAAARGH and charging :-)

Purple could also indicate Death... #wishfulthinking
True, but what self-respecting minion of Nagash would have green grass on their base? :-)

Looks like a skeletal arm & hand at least :-D

Can't understand why the Tzaangors isn't a crossover kit. You'd imagine we're gonna get them for AoS at some point.
Start raiding the Bits stores for Brayherd hands/weapons :-)

@Arkiham you seem excessively negative to me, and see scorn and ridicule where I merely see outreach and fun. In the face of all these great changes that GW have done lately and continues to so it seems, I do not understand how you can keep having such a negative filter on things.

It's incredible how fast some people get used to getting deals from GW with huge savings - Only months back a deal like this would have been absolutely awesome :-)
Personally I think it's cool with bigger army deals with all the new armies (except the poor Fyreslayers). I am considering picking one up myself.

Those Gore Gruntas are SUCH awesome models, even if their rules may not quite match their badassity

99$ is pretty cheap I think. It's not as packed as Betrayal of Calth or Burning of Prospero etc, but also cheaper and still a good deal.

'Entire back catalogue'. OMG - if I can get my hands on other Lichemaster or Mcdeath figures I will officially wet my pants.
I still cannot believe it'll be the entire back catalogue - It is absolutely huuge range of minis, they'll have to be able to cast on demand.
I hope it'll actually turn out to be true, but I'll have to see it to believe it :-)

just had my local games workshop confirm made to order items.
I still cannot believe it to be true - It would be absolutely crazy (good!) if GW opened up to order from their entire back catalog. If it should turn out to be true, it'll be very interesting to see how old stuff you can order.
This would be the best thing next to reopening their old bits service from the mailorder trolls!
