  1. What's your predictions for the next set of broken realms (dawnbringer crusades?) set of books. Here's my wishlist: * Grombrindal/dwarf soup * Tyrion * Morghur * Orion/Kurnothi Potentially with an Ogor wave in there somewhere - maybe instead of Morghur.
  2. Can I just say, I would love some thunderstrike prosecutors. And potentially also a thunderstrike celestant prime. I think the concept is fantastic, but the original models are just too chonk to be flying.
  3. I always assumed it was someone within GW, trying to steer and manage expectations, rather than spoil the surprise. Which is great, because no-one likes to be disappointed by expecting one thing, and getting something else. As much as I dislike the news, I'm immensely grateful to WF for the early warning that parts of CoS will disappear.
  4. No idea what to do now with my phoenix temple army. Finish painting it, and play it religiously until it gets binned in autumn. Or just sell it now while it's still worth something. [And no, I don't want to play them in old world. If I buy into old world, it's because I want to play with cool new models, not because I want to turn back the clock and play WHFB]
  5. No phoenicium. Does that mean phoenix temple is going away? EDIT: That's the saddest like react I've ever received. Going to cry into my flamespyres now.
  6. Seraphon Cities New season of war/incarnate Bonereapers/soulblight battletome reveal?
  7. I don't read a lot of AoS fiction, but I did manage to finish Dominion last night. I wonder if we'll get Zagora the Dawnbringer as part of the (cough) Dawnbringer Crusade.
  8. Whitefang said that destruction players who were disappointed with their battletome will get a second chance next year. Tbh mawtribes missed out the most with not having new yhetees, butchers etc. Could this be the first sign of the great 2024 destruction wave for broken realms?
  9. No seraphon rumours but apparently rally is going to get changed. From what I gather there will be a limit on how many wounds worth of models can be returned to a unit. He mentioned eight wounds.
  10. Eh, I mean he genuinely speaks his mind, which is great. I sometimes feel content creators can struggle to give a truly impartial battletome review when they have been sent freebies by GW.
  11. Just a small rumour bit this morning from THWG that the new spider incarnate is coming soon - maybe showcased this week. Apparently it can be summoned into combat!
  12. I saw this the other day and it got me thinking. What if a lot of the AoS releases recently are actually just stuff they've been designing for old world and releasing as it's ready. I mean, it's not just the seraphon stuff. Look at all the slaves to darkness and soulblight. Also, it could be the reason that we're getting snarlfang riders and no other gitmob. They're in the process of redesigning old world grots, but that's the only kit that's ready for now.
  13. Ive been painting and collecting AoS since launch, but haven't really taken the time to learn the rules or play a game. Jesus Christ it's overwhelming. I played 6th edition fantasy and 40k back in 5th edition, and I don't remember it being that difficult. Could be just getting old. But I've been looking with a degree of envy at one page rules, and that is so much more of an elegant game - to me at least. Would love that to catch on more widely as the stupid/drunk person's alternative
  14. Just a few models that may not survive the Great Wheel Purge.
  15. Came here to say that. Except that it looks like elves and dwarves are recruited to the ranks of new freeguild units, rather than being their own cults. They look like they're all in the same uniforms. Also those look like new demigryph knights.
  16. Lol, most people are totally fine with Cities going to legends, but they start to see how terrible it is for the game when their own factions are on the chopping block.
  17. He's the original source of the GHB rumour on infantry characters, and that has been spot on. Edit, he also leaked the new rule on stonehorn monstrous actions and again that was 100% accurate.
  18. It's Slaanesh and Khorne infantry heroes. Will likely be from a fomo box.
  19. I do think that soulblight need new graveguard and probably black knights too.
  20. I have to hope the story will be from the perspective of a normal human, rather than a space marine. Marines have zero personality and unironically talk like 80s action heroes. Which is part of the reason the animated Ultramarines film was so cringe. Conversely, seeing marines from the perspective of an ordinary human - like in the Eisenhorn books - better conveys how horrifying and impressive they truly are.
