  1. ***PRICE REDUCED - 55% off! Motivated to sell. $540 or make offers!*** Hey everyone! Gaming add has got the better of me again, and I’m looking to expand on some Dwarves I picked up. So, I have a very large Gloomspite Gitz army for sale! It’s mostly assembled but unpainted with a few exceptions. A few things are nib/nos and a few models were painted when I got the (but not many at all). The list: Skragrott The Loonking Madcap Shaman (oop metal) FW Shaman FW Standard (used as a Loonboss) FW Loonboss on Giant Squig 100 Sword Stabbas 32 Spear Stabbas 63 Shootas -14 off bases 12 Goblin “command” (misc. champions, banners, gongs, 3 netters) 48 Squig Herd (24 nos) 20 Boingrot Bounders 5 Loonsmasha Fanatics 20 Spider Riders (10 nos, old bases) -5 off bases/need work 6 Fellwater Troggs Colossal Squig (needs some better gap filling) Mangler Squig/Loonboss on Mangler Squig (nib) Endless Spells I also have a box with some odds and ends, mostly the old oop plastic goblins (from the 90s). I’ll throw that all in for anyone who buys the lot. I also have a bunch of homemade 3D printed 5 man movement trays. I can throw in at least enough for 60 goblins if interested. Can’t get pictures to upload for some reason. I can provide them through email. Total retail for the lot is around $1200. I took into consideration the few things that need some work/don’t have bases. Asking price is 55% off retail, $540, but that’s negotiable. Cash is preferred, but I would consider a trade for a similar sized lot of Cities of Sigmar that is all Empire (mainly state troops) and/or Dwarves (ie. not too interested in Elves). Thanks for looking! Please PM me with offers!
  2. I bought the ePub from GW. $10 more but it’s nice to have it.
  3. Don’t trust 1d4Chan. Leadbelchers need 4 to be battleline.
  4. Get some “real” goblins from Gloomspite who will lead these oppressed goblins to freedom!
  5. So in Azyr it’s currently saying Ironguts are battleline if BCR General. That’s can’t be right I’m assuming? Or is it??
  6. Any clue when Warscroll Builder and also Azyr will be updated? Want to toy around with some lists but these tools make it much easier!
  7. They have the Huskard priest, which is pretty similar and probably aligns better to a nomadic style shaman (as opposed to a wizard).
  8. Just looked further into this. Unless 1d4Chan missed it, looks like the Butcher +1 mount damage is monster only
  9. 1 being held (that could fit any Ogor left arm I believe) and one holstered. I bought 2 SC Beastclaw boxes and are probably just not going to use those pistols for the Mournfangs. I'm less worried about the WYSIWYG on their leader than I am on the Maneaters, since they're conversion.
  10. I'm planning to rely heavily on Mournfang pistols as mentioned. Also, there are some good ranged weapons in the Beastriders kit that I'm going to use for some variety and character. There's a crossbow, chaintrap, the vulture, maybe one or two more. Should be able to mix that with Glutton and Irongut kits to make some cool Maneaters. I'm planning at least 6, so some with pistols/other ranged weapons, and some with bigger melee weapons like gargant hackers, and a few mixed. Another thing I've seen suggested is to use human sized black powder weapons, which should be roughly pistol sized to an Ogor. I'm not sold on this one but it might be an ok option for hanging from a belt or something.
  11. How does a Butcher give +1 damage? A spell?
  12. Yea I was thinking Butcher for +1 attack too. With a 4+ they should be pretty tough to shift. My concern is their offensive output drops off after the charge. A Thundertusk nearby with the trait that makes enemies fight last could be nice.
  13. Maybe I’m crazy....but has anyone thought about running a huge unit of 8 Mournfang? I know it’s a lot more than the same wounds worth of Gluttons, but with the right buffs I think it could be worth it. This would probably hinge on getting the Huskard +1 to wound prayer going tho. Not exceptionally reliable. Thoughts?
  14. I’m more just making the point that, if his experience was a Butcher “seeing off” a unit of Ardboys, that’s far from typical. I’d be shocked if a single unbuffed Butcher killed even 5 Ardboys, as both Butcher weapons average under 3 damage against them. It would take 4-5 rounds on average for the Butcher to kill 5 Ardboys. That may in fact be better than some other wizards but I’d hardly call it capable.
  15. Really? With just the 3 attacks, no buffs? Numbers don’t back up him being a good fighter. Maybe better than some other wizards but not amazing.
  16. I’d rather chance the 7 casting value on the better lore spells for sure. I guess battalions are important considerations.
  17. Honest question....outside of battalions that require them, does anyone actually see a reason go take a Butcher as opposed to a Slaughtermaster? I don’t think either of their spells are better than lore spells, and the Butcher lacking cauldron abilities for the same cost just seems silly. Am I missing something? I thought maybe in Bloodgullet for the bonuses but I believe that’s keyword BUTCHER so it applies to both. Thinking about getting big ovals that are Slaughtermaster size and boring out a Butcher sized hole, adding a cauldron, and calling it a day. That way if I do want to run a Butcher I still can.
  18. Ah right. I forgot about that. GG are a spiritual successor to the old O&G so it makes sense.
  19. Ah ok so nothing other than its place in the store? I’m guessing there just wasn’t anywhere else to put it given how few “subsections” there are. Where is it now? Under “all destruction” I’m guessing, and not with a faction? If anywhere, either GG or Orruks makes the most sense bc the old WHFB giant was originally under the old Orcs and Goblins (like Trolls).
  20. Stormcast, Khorne...I’m sure there’s more, but I’ve played those 2.
  21. No you’re correct. A spell lore for Butchers and a lore for Firebellies, plus a prayer list for Huskards. No endless spells tho.
  22. Yea I guess that’s my point tho...other than Slaanesh a lot of the rework books lately seem more like a streamline of rules and maybe toss in spells/terrain. I don’t consider any of them more or less “completely” designed. There is definitely variance in terms of power level but that’s a different idea entirely. I also still maintain I remember seeing something (maybe even official from GW?) where one of the CoS devs said it was his dream project of sorts and a lot of time was spent on it. Either way, I’d hardly consider lacking endless spells lack of development/underdeveloped.
  23. Well that’s perfectly fine to argue but without backup I’m pretty hesitant to believe this anonymous source. “Rush job” 100% implies that they didn’t spend appropriate time on so thanks for the clarity. But, at the same time....did these books really need a full development cycle? In my mind a “full cycle” means a start-to-finish army build. Why would they entirely redesign armies from the ground up if they don’t need it? And if we’re still talking lack of “newness” with Ogors that’s wrong bc they are getting terrain. Regardless at this point I’m not even sure what your argument is. You’ve admitted that Cities isn’t bad, and I’d argue it’s good. I don’t know enough about Orks to comment, and so far I think Ogors look pretty solid. I don’t deny that the goal of several recent books is to meet demand from players who have been waiting and to solidify these armies. This is true of more than Destruction factions - Cities, BoC, Skaven, Slaanesh even. But...again, there is new stuff in Mawtribes, so...idk...seems like they put time into development.
  24. According to what? I’ve never heard that.
