  1. So the team has another member now: Simon Eccles. That means I've been joined by 2 out of the bottom three from the last tournament I ran! We are now 1. Paul Whitehead2. Rob Boyce3. Simon Eccles4. who's it gonna be? So just need one more player - do YOU, yes YOU, dare to join us?
  2. So Rob "wooden spoon expert" Boyce is on the team!! Just need 2 more now. Team is: 1. Paul Whitehead 2. Rob Boyce 3. you? 4. Or this could be you
  3. This sounds like being a great event, and I want to be there. So I've paid the deposit for a team. BUT I've no-one to go with. I know there will be many people who would like to attend a team event, but don't feel they can put a team together - so come and join my team! So far the team is: 1. Paul Whitehead 2. you? 3. Or this could be you 4. This could certainly be you If you want to be in the team leave me a message here, or DM me, or contact me on twitter @skepticscouter
  4. LOL - it wouldn't be a proper tournament if half the entrants weren't still painting their armies on the Friday night. Running it so close to GHB2017 release HELPS make it a proper event!!!!
  5. That's a good point Marc. I'm on a long leash, and I've no flippin' idea what time we need to be there Saturday or Sunday. Hey! @Anyone seen Grimnir? what time is registration/start/finish etc?
  6. I know you haven't asked for opinions, and very obviously you will have the final say and I'll be happy with it. But....... For my money, even if GHB2017 is released on 26th August - go for it! The sooner we start using the new points the better. You have my total support on this one.
  7. Looks like I've got an early finish at work on Friday 4th, so just wondering what time people are likely to be gathering at Imps gaming on the Friday for warm up games and the BBQ?

  13. Gah! I knew there was something I was trying to remember for FAQs - and that's it. Bit too late to change things now so go with RAW - unit champions and any other model CAN be the general. Thanks for reminder Tony, I can always rely on you

Game System: Age of Sigmar Date: Saturday 15th July 2017 Location: Shadwell Scout Hut Main Street Shadwell LEEDS LS17 8HH No. of Games: 4 Comp System: 1200 points with General's Handbook scenarios Cost: £20 This is a relaxed tournament should suit both players wanting a fun day of AoS AND for those tournament regulars who like a competitive game. We'll play 4 randomly selected scenarios from the General's Handbook with 1200 point armies using the Battlehost selection rules (i.e. 1-6 Leaders, 3+ battleline etc). Why 1200 points? Well, we have all honed our 1000 point and 2000 point armies to perfection, so I thought it was time to mix things up a bit. 1200 points with 3 battleline units provides a suitable challenge in list building and should allow some novel lists. There are also 4 simple agendas to add extra spice without adding complexity - see the full rules pack for details. The complete Comp Pack with full details is at: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bk2iwq1yhz9eg03/Leeds 1200 v1.2.doc?dl=0 Please have a thorough read through it. It is currently v1.2 - and will be updated as necessary. Refreshments are provided all day in the price. We also have an agreement with the pub next door so you can buy beer etc. there and drink it at the venue. Lunch is included in the price and is a Roast Lunch at the Red Lion pub next door. The menu include Roast of the Day, Home-made Steak & Ale Pie, Ham Eggs& Chips, Sausage & Mash, Homemeade Lasagne, Fish & Chips, Breaded Scampi, Chilli con Carne, Wild Mushroom Stroganoff, and Five Bean Chilli. 22. Hi, I just bought a couple of tickets for this for Luke Whitehead and me (Paul Whitehead). I would like to Grudge Craig Carlton in the first round if that's possible - we have been trying to get a game for months now, but always seem to miss each other. Is that OK with you? Cheers P.S. can I make a constructive suggestion? - put the date in the event title above, it helps people identify which events they are interested in, and you will probably get more people clicking on it.
