  1. The image of the wrapped present was a two sided blade. It wasn’t anything released today, but an image of a present was symbolic for todays big piece of news.  What was shown wrapped however,  I believe was of something else entirely, and intended to keep hype going beyond the news released today.

I read most of the lore, I want to know what races can bust through reality on a whim besides the skaven.

Fictional worlds are transitent things that grow over time. What is now, can change though plot developments and twists.

I really think all kinds of engines and ships could work for practically every army. It was even true for WFB, the downside of WFB was that it did require some aquatic areas to be believable but for Age of Sigmar something like that doesn't really matter.

Better put a flying chariot for Stormcast, a flying Warship for Vulkites and Bloodbound and Zeppelin for Orruks would work amazingly well in my mind. For Death obviously such design is even easier justified by a dozen orso banshee's carrying it like they do with the Necromancer engine.

One of the reasons as to why I believe 40K is also so massively popular is because of vehicles of all kinds. In this epic Age of Sigmar I think it would be very great to not only consider something similar but even improve onto it.

    Examples of epic fantasy vehicles:

So yeah, I just hope GW continues to turn up AoS to 11.

I’ve been saying this for a while, look at how awesome beastclaw raiders are in comparison to the old ogre army.

I think aos would explode in terms of popularity if they had more beast riding armies like BCR or more armies with lots of viechles in the KO style.

oh, come on, plaguebearer, tallyband or plagetouched warband are already VERY annoying too fight, sometime even more when you play a shooty army. Missile attack are definitely not the weakness of nurgle (khorne mortals, on the other hand...). I mean, they have a battleline unit with -2 to hit them at range !

They weakness, for me, is the lack of hard hitting-unit

However, Pestigors are definitively on the way. They even appear in Plage Garden

If you wish for me to clarify what I think is our weakness then it’d be our speed. If we are to remain a slow army, then we need a way of dealing with thundertusks and skyfires. We also need some capacity to attack objectives on the other side of the board. However this isn’t the place to discuss what nurgle do and don’t need.

No they shouldn't (at least that's my opinion). Just as my Slaanesh don't NEED a tanky unit. Factions should play uniquely. Slaanesh should be absolutely destroyed if you lose the momentum of your charge, and Nurgle should be slow and resilient.

If you feel you need speed for your gameplay, that;s fine but that's what allies and the Grand Alliences are for. For me keep the gameplay for all the factions as unique and specialised as possible.

In theory I agree. However if nurgle are to remain as they are without any additional dynamics, they need some abilities that combat enemy missiles and to give some capacity to take objectives on the opposite side of the board.

Anyway this is not a rumour! I apologise for my part in the deviation.

  6. The new logo may indeed hint toward a change in the overall narrative in the game - in that perhaps order are about to really struggle against chaos, death and destruction.

In regards to rumours however, the disappointment ive experienced regarding nurgle is of my own making. I thinks it’s time I got off the rumours bus and focused on our current location.

  7. @Burf ha ha ha somehow I’m thinking that you’re the troll ? but maybe I’m  wrong

But I drift off topic! I think the idea of corruption of stormcasts would be a cool idea for a narrative drive. However I think there are enough antagonist/protagonist dynamics to work through for now, before we get to a fall of the stormcast type plot. ....Rise of the Aelves\slannesh etc etc.

  8. I was hoping that we’d see a nurgle battletome and some new nurgle mortals this side of Christmas, but Im slowly losing all hope (how fitting). Seems to me, we may get a couple of new factions early next year, which annoys me somewhat cause I was hoping to treat myself for Christmas. But oh well, better late than never I guess.

Ps I have no evidence for this and damn I hope I’m wrong.
