  1. A friend of mine is painting some of the new terrain for Printable Scenery latest Kickstarter, and I had the chance to have a game with it the other night. The Kickstarter is focused on tribal Orc buildings, so lots of wood carvings, tusks, and bone, but honestly they are probably better suited as buildings from the Realm of Beasts. The KS for these buildings has just gone live, so if you have a 3d printer, then I advise you back it, this looks like the best Printable Scenery Kickstarter to date.
  2. Last night, i went back to the same friend's house who owned the above pictured terrain. We played a board game called Massive Darkness, and though not strictly related to AoS, the board was fantastic. It was made up of 3d printed tiles that he used in stead of the cardboard ones that came with the game. I could easily see them being used in Shadespire , or a smaller scale narrative game of AoS.
  3. Hmmm, maybe i should give the Pathfinders another shot. Seems their rules, combined with the new stuff, works well.
  4. Handgunners make me sad, what with their stand and shoot. The first time i faced the Freeguild, and found out the could stand and shoot, but we couldnt, i was unimpressed. I also lost the game, but i am sure thats unrelated.
  5. All the stuff pictured above is done by a company called printable scenery, who do a wide rage of stuff. I went to their site recently, plenty of stuff there that would in really well for Shadespire. I do agree on the point about how practical it is to play on such a board, but its fun do once every while, and memorable. On a side note, printable scenery actually are on the last 4 days of their current Kick Starter, which features a Gothic cathedral wit the option to add dwarven or demonic architecture to the cathedral. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/printablescenery/rampage-gothic-3d-printable-scenery-building-syste?ref=f09rqw
  6. I agree, 3+ to hit for Glade Guard bows is essential. I would even be ok with a small points increase for that upgrade
  7. I am interested to hear how SoW as Battline go. Before GHv2 i didn't take them, now i take them as the Nomad Prince's guard as he teleports about the table
  8. Nice, good to see a (even if unofficial) Skarloc mini.
  9. A board, made up of all 3d printed terrain, perfect for just about anything. All of the terrain comes from Printable Scenery

  13. Three Waywatchers (the heroes not the unit) are a terrifying thing go face down. I have used two of them to take down a Hydra in a single round of shooting, using Fast Shot of course, because 6 shots hitting on 2s, with a 5 and a 6 being an extra shot is truly wonderful.
