  1. With World Eaters and CoS being announced at the same time, both ranges are probably already finished. We're just seeing a lot more World Eaters stuff because they're the thing that leaked and GW is scrambling to cover it's bases. Hell, we probably wouldn't have seen any of the new Guard stuff yet if it wasn't for the leaks. If we don't see them in 2023 I'd be very surprised.
  2. They are. The contents page was the first we saw of Horns of Hashut and the Legionnaires. I also missed off the Soul Grinder.
  3. Marauders, Marauder Horsemen, Chariots, Warshrine, Spawn, Mutalith Vortex Beast and Lord on Manticore are all the Fantasy leftovers that aren't getting replacements I think.
  4. Multi-part Warriors and Knights. New Chaos Lord on foot and mounted.
  5. One criticism I have of the Soulbound stuff is how obviously they have to tie any new classes in directly with the models, unless it's something 200% original like the Pioneer. You can't just have a Normie Human Noble, it has to be a Lost Scion(tm) because there's a model of that. The Freeguild Guard obviously got stripped out because GW probably told them "we're updating the models, you can't do that."
  6. Sorry folks, it's just an Eternus 'reveal' as at least one person here predicted. At least the trailer's cool.
  7. Cities/Dawnbringers seems a good bet, since World Eaters have had Angry Ron and the full Berserker unit now and the rest of the year seems pretty filled up with Battletome releases.
  8. The LRL/DoT Battletomes have had pretty much zero buildup to them from WarCom, so it seems unlikely to me, but if the Votann Army Set is a two-week pre-order they might be and Necromunda/Khorne as the filler week. If the Votann is just a one-week pre-order I think it'll be Necromunda and the Khorne warband this week, LRL/DoT the week after, then the Votann set.
  9. I think the fate of Dispossessed will come down to how Dawnbringers/CoS turn out. If everything Duardin has been ripped out that might be a good sign in a... weird kind of way that we'd see some kind of Khazalid Empire standalone 'tome. I don't feel like GW would bring back Grombrindal just for some BL stories (hell, even Gotrek got a model), especially since he can act where Grungni might not be able to but still be an extremely powerful model on the tabletop - but then again how long have people been waiting for Malerion? There's also the mystery of the Gholems. They're very tied to Grungni and Soulbound mentions them living in Order cities, but we've never actually seen them. Whilst they could just be another Silent People or Grotbag Scuttlers, it's odd they threw out such specific circumstances in background lore without showing us anything about them, almost like they don't want to let slip of future model designs or something.
  10. I agree when it comes to everything but the basic Ogres. Leadbelchers and Ironguts look fine due to the weapons they're carrying, but it's painfully obvious the Ogor Gluttons were designed to be ranked up on square bases. That they're such big models in a game where most modern AoS sculpts are designed with semi-dynamic poses just makes the "arms tucked in, weapons side by side" posing extra glaring.
  11. First we'd probably see of anything Dispossessed is with the Dawnbringer Crusade/Cities of Sigmar revamp, but from what they said on the announcement stream it'll be largely dominated, if not entirely, humans.
  12. Part of me wonders if this was originally meant to release last year before things went wrong with Cursed City's production. Bit weird that after a year and a half this is it, no new minatures. I know there was a lot of discussion/speculation surrounding Kritza and Lady Annika having been Cursed City characters who were thrown into the Soulblight Battletome and this will probably add to that. Not actually packaging any models with it is a bit cheeky.
  13. 10th - 30k Predators and Proteus. 17th - Leagues of Votann two-week pre-order. 24th - Necromunda splatbook and the Goliath/Esher bikes. Underworlds warband. They've been unusually quiet about the LRL/DoT Battletomes and on stream they were a bit throwaway about the confirmation of their 'tomes. Plus the Mawtribe/Sons Battletomes don't even have art yet. I think there's still going to be a bit of a wait for all four.
  14. Being reboxed with the King Brodd sprue most likely. They'll be back, with a price hike of course.
  15. Brodd looks good, but it didn't really blow me away either. I think he really suffers from just being an extension of the existing Gargant kit. If it wasn't for us already having the art of his dragon helm and you told me it was a new generic Gargant variant called a "Dragonslayer" I'd have believed you. Whilst I'm definitely not opposed to upgrade kits there's nothing that really screams Unique Faction Leader about him. Definitely could've done with his own pose, like the 'hammer over shoulder' that's been brought up. Overall he's just 'good', not great, not bad. Underworlds Khorne is... okayish? Meh? There's been two Khorne warbands at this point and this does have that sort of "throw ideas at the wall and see what sticks" vibe. Feels like it was a junior sculptor's prospect project and they decided to actually make it. A different, non-'Eavy Metal paint job might save them. Chosen look fantastic. They hit the right balance of being ornate and "these guys/gals are clearly elite" without feeling unnecessarily overdesigned. I'm sure if I was required to actually paint them they'd quickly become my most hated models ever, but as an observer I love them. The Hunter is a big disappoint for me, but that's probably because the original Ogre Kingdoms Hunter is, and remains, one of my favourite models ever. The Underworlds Hunter sculpt was pretty good as well, although I felt the face was where that one was let down. I see where they're going with it - they want the Hunter to feel more cohesive with the rest of the range, but to me that's part of what make him look so good, following the fluff of them being outsiders who were content to trek off alone and rely on themselves. Now he looks like any other Ogre with a crossbow, whereas the old ones you could glance at him and tell "Yeah, that one stands apart from the others." That's not to say the new model is bad, it's still a good model, but the soul was lost in translation.
  16. The leaks didn't do the Chosen justice, despite being quite decent shots (for a leak).
  17. Gorechosen, 3-man warband because you can never have too many Slaughter Priests.
  18. My money's on it being a Khorne Underworlds warband model. Failing that, Ogre on a throne. Looks like there's tusks protruding from the sides? Beastclaw named character?
  19. Axe dude is 100% the Chosen Exalted. He has the exact same silhouette as the leak, I'm just not posting it for obvious reasons. I don't think age matters too much if they think they can get more money out of it. A lot of Dark Eldar characters got new HQs very quickly.
  20. First is a new Kharn or Berserker. Pose and backpack match the existing model pretty closely. Second one along is the Exalted Champion from the Chosen leak. Third is almost certainly the Grimnyr for Votann. Forth can only be the new Gargant.
  21. Shush, we'll get another Shadowstalkers unit if they hear you.
