  1. What’s the verdict on reroll chants vs. additional range for prayers? Was probably gonna go for rerolls to give a better chance of it going off?

    HGBs in 10s or 15s?

  4. Want to paint a tester model for my new FS army but don’t want to commit to any particular weapon options before the new battletome which will hopefully come out at some point. Can anyone suggest a safe bet for one model to build and paint that will hopefully be fairly futureproof? Ta!!

  6. Any been using a Sludgeraker and / or Supa Sneaky in a BW lists? Think a Fast ‘in Sludgeraker with a MBoMK might have some decent alpha potential if you get given first turn and see a good opportunity?

    This is gold, thanks man. Will change for 2 drops and yeah, the Supa Sneaky is just to cover any deployment errors and nudge stuff about for ranges. Not had a go with Sludge-powered Boltboyz yet but would like to see it.

    Errrr… It reminds me a bit of Skaven artillery, except it’s even more feast-or-famine. Do find myself rolling a 1 fairly frequently. Mind games are key though, it definitely gives monster-heavy lists something to think about and if you roll well the damage spikes massively.

    Love the idea of the SBBs by the way, may well have a game with them one time. I generally like the idea of trying to include some Bonesplitterz but every time I think about a unit I like (eg. Boarboys), I look at the IJ equivalent (Gruntas) and decide against them.

    So obviously it all dies / loses to Sentinels, Bowsnakes etc., but as a half-decent BW list I think it holds up.

    It all castles up with overlapping buffs nicely and can move out of the castle quickly if it does need to go first.

    Killbow is swingy but Boltboyz have been deadly for me and can be teleported with GGHoG.

    Low points gives decent shout of a triumph and future-proofs inevitable Grunta points rises.

    5 Ardboys screen for a Brute counterpunch. Gutrippaz over 10 Ardboys as there’s a tiny chance they might live long enough to get some synergy with the Swampcalla, whereas Boys are way down the list of potential targets for the WC.

    Obviously Wurrgog is super fun times.

    Just wanted to share but any improvement suggestions much appreciated!!

    Legendary. Might just paint one of the Scareshields in a radically different colour and call him the banner bearer or something.

    Another variant would be to switch warlord for command entourage. Going from 5 to 4 drop would give you who go first pick against other list with Warlord, at the expense of 1 CP per game

    Command Entourage is a great shout, had completely forgotten about that. Could even swap the 2nd Warchanter for a cheeky unit of 3 Boltboyz as that takes it to 2k on the nose but it’s probably overkill.

  14. Might try this one over the weekend, MSU target saturation teleport shooting with a MBoMK pushed into your face…? Probably won’t work but wanna try out some Boltboyz and a second Killbow. Forgot about not being able to have 9s in BW as they aren’t battleline which is a bit sad face. Trying to reduce drops a little bit to try to get in first vs. at least a couple of lists.

  15. Had my game with the list above vs. Stormcast dragon-y list, they had:

    Stardrake with AoD, Tauralon, Castellant

    2x2 Dracoths, 2x2 new Stormdrakes (proxies)

    Lost by 1 point on the battle plan with one in each territory and 2 in the middle (the 1-2-4 point one).

    Basically made the error of overextending with the MBoMK turn one and ended up half-killing 2 units rather than crushing one, losing points and tempo.

    Was a bloody battle, very little alive at the end. Killbow is a high priority target and didn’t survive turn 1.

    Love the Wizard coven but they achieved very little, only got a handful of spells off and didn’t manage any unbinds with Gobsprakk. He also died before he could swing so a disappointing game from him after failing to get off a single spell in 4 rounds.

    Proper funny game all in all but more testing required. Really want the magic build to work so will keep trying, feel like it’s a lot to commit when everything casts on such high numbers.
