Im hoping, according to the release schedule that Seraphon on first but both the full release of them and the first Dawnbringers is out before 10th. We basically have 20th, 27th, 3rd and 10th as release dates for things. We don't have much non-FW stuff for 40k so its possible to get. Provided 10th goes on pre-order on the 10th and releases the 24th. Seraphon full release - (might be over 2 weeks) Warcry release Dawbringer release Necromunda release

That would be the dream. I would love the reintroduction of Cities of Sigmar to be a shift away from the Stormcasr as the "posterchild" of AoS. I'd take anything other than Stormcast in the starter, just to change things up.

*Nervous laughter* Theoretically they can support as many armies as they're willing to hire designers for. My main game for years was Warmachine & Hordes and they ran into a horrendous problem of SKU bloat. Every other year, each faction would get 2-8 new units added to their range. Trying to carry the entire line became untenable for most game stores due to space, funds and/or knowledge. Games Workshop had a way around this by just updating older kits, which would create new sales from people getting into that army or updating theirs. Now GW is doing both, updating kits and adding new units to existing armies. It is not at the same pace as Privateer Press' WM&H and GW has significantly more resources, so I think it'll be awhile before they hit the threshold that Warmachine did. At some point Duradin might get an Orruk Warclans style book but I believe it will be after each current dwarf book receives more options and a potential third or fourth faction is added to the game.

Excited for the Old World. A little bummed Lizardmen won't be in the "focus" for the setting, unless I'm missing something in the lore. Guess I'll have to do Tomb Kings for Old World! I know they didnt show off a lot of models but we got a lot of information and it's pretty cool. Returning models, new models in both resin and plastic. We know that Orks are coming as well. Looks like it will be Brettonnia vs. Tomb Kings for the starter.

I loved all the AoS Previews. I will say, I'm glad Fyreslayers are getting something new but it's kind of adding insult to injury giving them another foot hero. I will say the Maw-Krusha gives me a little hope that Seraphon will see a singular monster update like that. I know its greedy but I need more big dinos.

I'm so excited for the preview! I thought I would be sated after the release of new Seraphon but I still can't wait to see what new models everyone else is getting!

My fear of monkeys/apes only grows with the new FEC warcry unit. The sculpts are executed well but I will stay far away from that were-ape. I love the new roadmap for Warcry and can't wait to see more non-chaos warbands. My hopes for the 4 destruction are Ogors (Maneaters please?) Bonesplitter hunting party Kruleboys something Gloomspite Gits, hopefully spider riders. For the order, might be a weird flex but I would like it to be all Cities of Sigmar. So excited for tomorrow!

The new art and lore is so great. I do wish they talked a little bit more about how Seraphon are handling the current events like the crash of the Eye of Chotec or whats going on in Chamon after the Thunderlizards decimated a majority of their forces. I do like that apparently there is a council of Draconiths and Slann, would love to be a fly in that room. I also like that they once again confirmed that Starborne are living things from spawning pools. I can't wait to get into the book and read the fluff and see what else has changed and progressed!

Yeah at this point, all of the rules should be out there with point costs as well. I doubt there is anything missing rules wise from the leaks at this point.

Hey there, friendly local slann, here! With the new Battletome 2023 on the way I would like to start a discussion of the new book with tactics, insights and observations. As with all things, especially new, let's be positive and find the best way to play this new tome.

my dino-person. I could not have said it better myself. While I think Aggradons look cool, they are most certainly no closer to actual dinosaurs than the rest of the Seraphon line. The raptadons are a breath of fresh air in a world where Jurrasic Park "dinosaurs" have severely impacted the public knowledge.

Ooof, lets not be casting stones until we see the whole picture right? We only seen snippets of each model and this article in particular was showing how those 2 units work together, no other rules shown besides basic attacks. Yes Seraphon was strong and yes it might have to pay for the sins of the past but starting to spiral in negativity is not helpful for anyone, especially yourself. If you want to blast the book after we see all the rules go for it, I just don't think its necessarily healthy. I'm excited for new models, new rules and new lore for the Seraphon regardless of whatever their power level will be. Raptadons have captured my heart as being the most "dinosaur" of the current Seraphon dinosaurs.

1. Depends on how good they are compared to the rest of the units in the army? Seraphon seem to be getting "less accurate" with Skink operated things moving to 4's to hit. Which I think is fine 2. The art is gorgeous omg, I'm in love.

I get Big Daemon Energy off of this. I would say Tzeentch or Thousand Sons. I'm really curious what this is going to end up being.

Generally no? For the Astra Militarum, Leagues of Votann and Prisoners with Jobs to Darkness releases as a retailer we had no problem requesting and getting what we wanted. I'm hoping the same for Seraphon as I want a couple of boxes but we'll coming up in a week or so.
