I'm not convinced that gordakk's going to start off 3.0, considering he has a model already. I think it'd have to be something else, but I'm not sure what else it would be. Nothing to do but wait for the next drip-feed on that front, anyway.

Possibility for gloomspite gitz since they had a few stories involving Tzeentch. Maybe skaven in eshin, but i'm not sure as skaven could have just been a plot device for Belakor to hang around.

I just think the criteria for "worst treatment" should take into account the backwards jump in quality that happened for rats post end-times

High elves were obviously squatted, on the skaven side, other than the mortar, everything else still has datasheets, even if the warlord was simplified

It was, but it was also released during AoS as Spire of Dawn, i think during the year of 2016

Skaven also had new sculpts in Isle of Blood, in the Rat Ogres, Packmaster, Warlord, Warlock Engineer, Warpfire Thrower, and Mortar (RIP) which were all removed with high elves in AoS a few years in. (They did clear out old stock by calling it spire of dawn and selling it for a few months.) As a rat player, i'd really appreciate if GW took out those old files and gave them a spin in some moulds.... please... rat ogres are so ugly

Hope for StD's fan's sakes its something more interesting than that- I can't imagine many people looked at night/gutter runners and prayed to the heavens that they could bring them along. The deceiver and the assassin are cool, though I'm thinking belakor is going to be an alternate way to play StD - hopefully something with less marauders

I love hearing about how ikrit is an awesome skaven character, and his only appearance is a book where he's a antagonist to a stormcast eternal (you can guess how that goes for him)

All belakor needs to do is paste a cardboard cut out of the black pyramid on whatever he wants wrecked and it's as good as dead

I stopped paying attention to rumor engines as much since basically the entire necron refresh (except for Szeras) wasn't in rumor engines at all. I think aos 3.0's armies will be just as prevalent. That would be awesome!

Quite a few factions would be left out of broken realms then, if it's like Psychic Awakening in that the end starts up the next edition.

I'd be all over that. I'm a solo army for mainline AoS, but I've loved all the warhammer quests, they're a good painting project and the games are fun too.
