  1. Would be cool. I still have a box of two Gargants which need to be build. My idea was removing the top of head of one of the Gargants and maybe use the top of the endless spell mushroom (if it isn't to big) like a hat in the same way the Fungoid-Cave Shaman is designed. And after that maybe put spare bits (mushrooms) from all the other Gloomspite boxes all over the gargant so that I have a Fungoid-Gargant conversion. But I still don't know if the endless spell mushroom might be too big or maybe look a bit odd on top of the head of a gargant. Edit: By the way. New preview is up: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/01/04/4th-jan-gloomspite-gitz-preview-3-warscrollsgw-homepage-post-1/ It seems like the white Dankhold Troggoth is the Dankhold Trogboss: It also sounds like both the Trogboss and the normal Dankhold Troggoths are hero units.
  2. The best thing about this was the description of the Scaremonger: "Scaremonger – How do you scare a Moonclan grot? You wear a sun mask" I didn't even realize he was wearing a sun mask before. I thought it was just a flame mask. But now it all makes sense.
  3. Another question would be how the mechanic works if there are two Moonclan armies facing each other (or even more). Are there multiple bad moons? And does each Bad moon affect enemy gloomspites the same way it affects friendly gloomspites units?
  4. New Article about Allegiance Abilities: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/01/02/gloomspite-gitz-preview-part-1-the-basics-and-allegiance-abilitiesgw-homepage-post-4/ At the start of the game, you’ll pick a corner of the board for the Bad Moon to start in. Starting from the second battle round, it’ll begin to move from one corner to another – offering enhancements to Gloomspite Gitz units that are wholly within the board segment it’s currently shining on. Enemy Units anywhere on the board are bombarded with meteors from the Bad Moon, and take damage. Gloomspite Gitz Wizards under the Bad Moon get +1 to their casting rolls, while all other wizards get -1. Gloomspite Gitz Generals get an additional command point in each hero phase they’re under the Bad Moon. Squigs under the Bad Moon can advance and charge in the same turn. Moonclan Grot units re-roll hit rolls of 1. Spiderfang Grot units deal mortal wounds on a 5+ to hit, rather than a 6+. Troggoths can re-roll the dice to see if they regenerate wounds, or double the results of their first roll.
  5. The first thing I thought after seeing the Gobbapalooza was the "Seer Council" from 40k: But instead of wise and skilled Eldar seers we have mad and crazy Grot shamans, which I think were propably prisoned by the Loon King to harness the energies of the bad moon. It was said in the Lore video that Skargrott prisons Grot shamans to predict, where the Bad Moon will be next. I think the Gobbapalooza propably consists of some of those imprisoned Grot shamans.
  6. Another thing, which I found interesting for all Destruction factions (if they can ally in Gloomspite) was this quote from the Warhammer Community article: So there might also be a way to shield your forces against shooting-heavy armies, which is pretty cool in my opinion.
  7. I am more than happy about this release, even though I am a Beastclaw Raiders player. But this army is also something worthy to collect. I am so excited and hyped about painting all these models, that I can almost forgive GW if they will focus entirely on Stormcast in the next two or three years. Because the one thing that could make me change my #1 preferred army has happened: I can now build a whole army consisting only of Troggoths. Ogors and Troggoths both were my favorite models in AoS. But before the Gloomspite Gitz I could only play an army of Ogors and not an army consisting only of Troggoths. The Dankhold Troggoths might be my new favorite models. Maybe. Or maybe they will only get the second place, because I like Stonehorns so much. I have to think about this.
  8. If you look at the pose of the white Troggoth it is very similar to the Dankhold Troggoth's pose. The left arm also has the same pose and the feet of the white Troggoth also look similar. Only the right arm is build in a different way than the Dankhold Troggoth. So I think they are both indeed part of the same kit. So you can maybe use different arms inside the kit.
  9. You are right. Maybe the Dankhold kit is similar to the Treelord Sylvaneth kit, where you can build a melee fighter, a named hero and a wizard.
  10. Jeah this is what I also found odd. At the moment it seems like there are only two waves of releases. Normally they release in waves of 3 or 4. But I also don't want to set myself up for disappointment. This is why I settle with this being all the models for the Gloomspite Gitz. But I am also happy if there turn out to be more models. I don't want to expect more than what I get.
  11. But it could also be that the Dankhold Trogboss and the Dankhold Troggoths are both units, which only consist of 1 model. So you can either build a single Trogboss or a single Dankhold Troggoth.
  12. Isnt Mollog also some kind of magician? Maybe Troggoth magicians are smaller? Here is also a size comparison, which GW uploaded on their Instagram:
  13. Size comparison of the different models:
  14. I legitimately ask myself this very often with leaks. I mean who would have gotten a copy of the book this early? It could be possible that it is GW themselves. Many companys adjust their strategies and take part in the leak game. But who knows.
  15. Ah I understand. Is it a multi-part kit then? Because in the leaked pictures there was a battalion containing a Dankhold Trogboss and multiple Dankhold Troggoths.
  16. Everything? Aren't there a few models missing for the preview? Maybe I am missing something. But there aren't any picture of the Dankhold Troggoths for example.
  17. Ok. Anyway. Still cool that they uploaded them. Great pictures! But I still find it suspicious that they first uploaded the article without these pictures and then after the leaks they added the picture to the article.
  18. They uploaded more pics! Maybe because of the leaks?
  19. They uploaded more pics! Maybe because of the leaks? Anyway these models look amazing! We don't have to look at low quality pictures anymore!
  20. Jeah they seem to come out of the Moon Shrine. For me it seems a missed opportunity if you can only revive Stabbas and Shootas with the loonshrine. Would have been cool if Squigs could also emerge from the cave. But the wording suggests this will be only possible for stabbas and shootas.
  21. We also got a new model reveal, kind of. The Scaremonger:
  22. Sooo does this mean that the Dankhold Trogboss might be the biggest "humanoid" individidual in GA: Destruction, which is not some sort of beast? I mean he seems to be bigger than an Orruk, Ogor or Grot. I don't know if a giant is bigger. But all the other big Destruction models and leader models are often big creatures with Orruks, Ogors or Grots riding on top. The leaders are not big on their own and instead ride on something big. But the Trogboss might be the biggest individual Hero model with brain cells (I mean more brain cells like the instinct-driven animals) in Destruction. Edit: Some of the trolls might also be useful if you are playing in Ghur and need wandering monsters for the realm rules in Ghur (if you play with wandering monsters in Ghur)
  23. I have to say that I like the new Mangler Squigs a lot more than the old ones. So I totally agree. I wasn't a fan of the old Mangler Squigs, but the new ones look promising. Maybe Reikland Fleshshade? I think this could be a good alternative. Edit: Sorry for triple posting. I didn't know how to combine two posts into one post and messed up a bit. I don't know if there is a way to delete my own posts, but I can't seem to find it.
  24. I don't think so. If you look at the blurry picture you can see that there are the three Rockgut Troggoths on the left page and the "centipede" on the right page. If you look at the other Rockgut Troggoth picture, you can see them on the left page and also that the right page is about the Dankhold Trogboss. Also I think you can identify the shape of a giant hammer in the blurred picture. I might also be wrong. But for me its seems very clear that the "centipede" is the Dankhold Trogboss. Let's see what others think about this.
  25. I compared the pictures of the centipede with the Trogboss and also the picture with the Rockgut Troggoth. It very much seems like the "centipede" is the Trogboss and not a centipede. The picture with the Rockgut Troggoths is the same as in the video where they flip the pages. In the video you can also see that the centipede is on the page after the Rockgut Troggoths. But in the picture which displays the Rockgut Troggoths you can clearly see that the next page after the Rockgut Troggoths show the Dankhold Troggboss.
