  1. GW keep us in suspense @blueshirtman. But you are at one of the best web sites out there for rumours of what's coming up. As for September, I think the only rumours I've read here are about Hosts of Slaanesh. Given we had Nurgle over Christmas maybe it will be a bit later. We don't really know though.

I don't mind if they make current OOP compendium models illegal in tournaments and can understand the reasons behind that. But as mentioned in other posts i need points to have a semblance of balance in the casual games that i am going to use those miniatures.

If how awesome our community has been to date is anything to go by, there will be fan made points to allow you to balance Legends armies. Hell, that was the case for all factions not so long ago!

However, if my TK (my 1st love) get sucked into this - and subsequently removed from compendium matched play - my feelings towards G-Dubya will end up down towards the bottom of Skarbrand's damage table.

First of all - respect. Tomb Kings (and Bretonnians) are up there with my favourite Warhammer armies. Sadly, maintaining an out-of-production army in matched play when the list of factions is currently so crazy large, over 20 for order alone not including compendium armies, is probably not reasonable. Either GW change their mind and make the miniatures for a Crimson Monarchy faction available (how amazing would that be!) or the Tomb Kings transition to Legends. I honestly can't see it any other way unfortunately.

  4. Bloodmaster, good post and well presented.  The simple reason I prefer we don’t see a fifth alliance is because I like mixed armies. Being able to form a force made from as wide a variety of models is great from a hobby perspective . Don’t get me wrong though, tightly themed armies looks incredible.  A system that supports both approaches is best I think.

  5. Did people see the post on Faeit about a new Greater Unclean One? Grain of salt and all but apparently someone got a glimpse of some of the pages of Codex Daemons at the 40K open day. Claims he saw the new greater daemon and another unit that others think might be Pestigors.

Would be very cool if such models appeared in AoS.

  6. I can understand feelings of disappointed given the announcements we got from Adepticon earlier this year. That was exceptional though. I am used to the old Games Workshop that wouldn't announce anything until the last minute so not feeling disappointed which is good.

Am thrilled by all of the Shadespire war bands - small but brilliantly characterful  collections that would make fantastic painting projects that I could complete in a few weeks rather than years. The rats look amazing.

P.S. Love the Darkoath Queen too.
