  1. So true but book or not the quitness from my side is due to that f..... Covid 19. Had to cancel all games and all clubs are closed off. So finally it just stopped making sense building lists and planing tactics. At the moment all AOS time is spend on painting and reading lore.. hopefully 2021 will be better...

It’s quite frustrating but on the other hand I have yet to lose anyone I know to Corona so I guess things could be much worse than just being unable to have fun with my armies, warbands and such.

Hope all of you are safe and well in these frustrating times.

  2. Pretty thin article I think. Lets hope that not the only one.
Didn’t mention new units or new Leader abilities nor the option to turn mercaneries into leaders.

The ladder so far being the sole reason to buy the book for me as an experienced Warcry player.

  3. I wonder what the ToC2020 can contain that make it nearly half as good as the last one. I mean sure more narrative campaign stuff and rules for multiplayer games are welcomed but last ToC 2019 had, warband profiles, extra Chaotic beasts, advanced campaigns in addition to new Quests/challenges..

After the revelations of Morathi which book do you think is most likely to be next in Broken Realms? Slaneesh seems most likely to me but they very well could wait a minute and release that after the next to show a passage of time.

Was wondering this myself.. I suspect they might pull a classic tvseries stunt and take the story to whole different angle. I mean here we are already left in suspense for the newborn and the shenanigans its about to set into motion so the classic tvmove would be to visit destruction, Sylvaneth, Death or someone not at all related to the Morathi affair.

My guess and hope would be  Death but thats mainly due to Nighthaunts needing  a hug from the update fairy.

Also the Soulwars seem like it changed the world but I find it kinda hard to figure out how Nagash’s hosts are dooing? So far the Soulwars has been very standard narrative, in the sense that the world is turned upside down yet, nothings been destroyed/conquered. Katakros managed to kick the Varanspire in the nuts and build himself a bit of a holliday cabin  in the Eightpoints but that was it.

The Twinsoul heads are kind of growing on me. I can see the intent, the broadening and smoothing out of the face making something quite inhuman. It doesn't always land but even where it's funny looking, like this dude, it has a certain creepy, sweaty, giggling, psychopathic charm. Looks like someone who'd cut himself while staring at you, grinning, before going for the kill.

I think the colourscheme will be able to do quite a bit for these dudes and dudess. Whenever I get around to paint one, I will get rid of the cat eyes and make the skintone more tormented to look at. Maybe even add a few selfinflicted face cuts.

I found their faces quite silly but I felt the same with most of the Bonereapers heads untill I actually got to hold one in my hands.

They also spilled the tea that Sigvald is, in fact, Slaanesh‘s offspring (Newborn). At some point Eddy Eccles called him a Demi-God. :)

Heard him but you sure that was what Eddie meant? I mean Sigvald is cool, but from Morathi book the newborn appear more dark and sinister, from what little we know.  At least thats what I thought. Was kinda hoping the newborn to be more of a realm breaker thing similar to the Necroquake and not just the release of another celebrity mini.

  7. Great preview! Those Slaanesh minis look absolutely awesome. Now Im not gonna build a Slaanesh army but boy do I hope that they will be in the Warcry grabd alliance book.
But hey GW what about the Halloween tease? Said to be revealed soon.

Whats the deal with that Zombie/Dryad/Spaghetti monster that scared of poor old Johan?

Also, for a bit more confirmation on Sigvald over an Eldar, the shadow on the sword seems similar to Sliverslash

Wait a minute have we not seen this sword in one those ‘clearly a Soulblight’ Rumour Engines revealed recently?

I was thinking about picking up the Tome of Champions for it's narrative campaign elements. Do you guys think, that this still makes any sense now?

    Indeed!
It has some cool challenge battles, Legendary narrative campaign rules and extra (chaotic) Beasts.

Pleasantly surprised the collector's edition cover actually looks different and isn't just a shinier version for double the price.

    Bugman looks fantastic.

Speaking of. Except for the change of cover what does the collectors addition have that the normal don’t?

Pretty sure it‘s Deadwalkers. This one was hanged or nailed to a tree, which he is still attached to.

Considering all the Rumor Engine images it‘s truly going to be Soulblight + Deadwalkers 😍

All that article shows as we have all known is if you dont collect am order army dont bother showing up.

Release after release of overpowered dwarves aelves stormcast and now seraphon have plagued aos for the past two years.

The slaves to darkness book makes a mockery of warhammers oldest institution. A gobo can now easily destroy a chaos warrior in combat. The meta is now just 40k but with bows and more squats.

    Hey Icegoat’s back🎉

With all the positive energy released from @KingBrodd I started to fear that their might be some disturbance in the Force. Good to see you pop in to bring a bit of balance yet again🙃

  13. Not at all.

I started painting my Bonereapers this spring and only had my first game with them last week. It was loads of fun and I went 3-1 against a Kroak list, Fyreslayers and Daughters.

They faced my Nagash list and now Im busy painting Deathriders so I can try them out also.

Very true this forum is by far the most open and community oriented warhammer group I have seen online. As a matter of fact, it is probably one of the best online communities I have encountered period.

    @Neverchosen & @KingBrodd

You guys are too cool, the positive vibes you spread always brings a smile to my face.

    Keep doing what you do😎🔥
