  1. If I remember rightly, someone on Reddit admitted to faking it. The word Umbraneth was never actually in the article, just in the image that made the rounds.
  2. I know it’s an incredibly vague answer, but I’m hoping for something weird from them. What that looks like, I don’t particularly mind. Me and a friend were discussing them before and he mentioned the idea of an almost biomechanical look, and a kind of stilsuit idea, which I actually did a sketch of a while back, but it’s not something I’m actually expecting from them.
  3. I’m sorry, but if the only style difference between Malerions elves and the Daughters of Khaine is that their whips are plain instead of braided, then it’s going to be such a dull release, because apart from that it looks exactly like a DoK model. I don’t get why so many people seem to be happy with a new faction looking so much like an existing faction? Malerions elves are the thing I’m most excited for in AoS too, and I’m going to be very disappointed if they’re just DoK 2.0.
  4. Chaos Knights rather than CSM, and it’s almost definitely Tyranids rather than GSC, I don’t think we’re getting anything else for GSC seeing as we’ve seen the Tau model coming with their codex after GSC now too and started seeing Eldar and Chaos coming later than that.
  5. God I really hope not. It just looks like a DoK model, which isn’t what I’m expecting from Malerions elves.
  6. It really feels more like wych elves than wyches to me.
  7. If it’s malerion elves it’s literally the most disappointing they could be, seeing as it looks exactly like a Daughter of Khaine model (or Dark Eldar model if you’re wrong).
  8. Yeah the whip model feels more Daughters of Khaine than Dark Eldar, although I can’t really say why.
  9. I was really hoping the 40k reveal was gonna be another Eldar model. Seems a non Space Marine faction can’t have 5 minutes without mediocre Marine sculpts being shoved down our throats.
  10. It’s not really a major reveal. It’s probably just their ‘new model monday’ equivalent for next week.
  11. Difficult this year, but I actually went for the Slaanesh Lord of Pain. As much as I love the big centrepiece models I tend to vote for something a little more ‘understated’ in these. I think they should separate 40k, AoS and Specialist Games for these though, or it’s almost certainly gonna be a 40k model every year.
  12. Fire Dragons, Avatar, there’s multiple Eldar things it could be a reference to. There’s obviously a theme to the whole thing, they’re not going to suddenly change track with a random quote with the same Eldar and Chaos frame.
  13. It’s still related to Eldar and Chaos. The frame is still Eldar and Chaos. Don’t read anything more into it.
  14. They mentioned in the week on Warhammer yesterday that there’d be info on the first codexes of 2022 so not really out the blue.
  15. Kinda finding it hard to find the excitement for a month of rumour engines when we have unsolved ones still from last years.
  16. I don’t necessarily believe these, but bowmen are almost a given for OBR when they get more models because we already have one from Underworlds, so I wouldn’t hold your breath on crossbowmen.
  17. I think bargain is pushing it. As you say, the Gargants are overpriced, so these are less overpriced than those, but they’re still a lot of money.
  18. Kinda wish they’d done photos with just white backgrounds too. Quite hard to make out.
  19. I don’t want to be, but I know myself well enough to know I’ll be tempted by a Hedonites or Ossiarch box.
