It looks like two workshops today. The title is getting more from selling GW merch or something like that. Hopefully we get some sweet sweet previews! Also I forgot GAMA was in Reno and I was real disappointed at 1100 EST at first.

Yeah I really like the backstory. Whether or not it impacts the gameplay, it certainly makes collecting the army more interesting. I hope they keep up these types of videos.

The Blood Knights are very, very old. We keep getting the same things repeated about the “huge” Death range. You even agreed many pages back that Death doesn’t have a huge line of models. As much as I would like Death models now, I thought I saw a post on the AoS Facebook where the staff said Death was getting new models (though they didn’t say when). Am I making that up now, or does anyone else have that saved?

It is just not true that Death has a huge range any longer (under the GA system). You can just check the website and see they have only a couple more than half as many models as the next lowest model count GA (Destruction). That being said, I am excited for some Aelves. But I'd rather see Death first, in what I assumed was a Death focused next few months.

No. I do play Death, and have played Death since it was Tomb Kings and Vampire Counts. Your tone, needs some work. My point was that if new units are coming soon, those should be in a book that is also coming soon. That would make the most sense. The hopeful half of me also thinks that there is NO way GW would focus on Soulblight like this, when there are only two different units which are available in store, the rest being website only.

It sort of begs the question though of why buy this new LoN book if it doesn’t have the allegedly coming soon new Death models.

Why do we think it is Undead Pirates vs the Cthulhu Aelves? I thought there were a few rumors of a nautical twist for them? Perching dragon thing on arm instead of a parrot that type of thing. Or did I miss more zombie pirate stuff?

It has been a pretty weird year after the KO teaser trailer. That was so awesome, and it’s been downhill since, both for AoS and 40k, in terms of reasonable spoilers or teasers. Kinda sucks the life out of hype.

The only new things were a new branding look and five models? What in the world.

Another interesting part of that rumor conversation is that GW had given up on AoS bc of the bad start and thats why we have had a gap in models. Would actually make sense, and explain why instead of armies we’ve been getting ways to use existing models.

Can I just point out again that the Blood Knights are nowhere to be found on the webstore now? They aren't temporarily out of stock (for rebasing), but just gone. Has anyone heard anything interesting about this?

Yeah that is right. I think @Sleboda you are right that you assume some level of expense by having an expensive hobby. It may seem ridiculous to not blink an eye at Dracothian Guard but be upset about this, but these are batteline core units vs an option. And before this goes too far off the rumor train, my point is that adding another way to collect or play Blood Knights isn't the thing I've been waiting for to buy them. Although, as I look through the website this morning that unit isn't there at all. Maybe, just maybe, dreams can come true!

New ways to play are fun, for sure. I hope that GW realizes though that they do not take the place of actual army updates with well sculpted models and faction focused rules. It seems to me that the initial success of AoS must have had a lot to do with the new units. I know I went all in on Stormcast. Anyway, I really hope that GW gets back to the release plan they had a year ago or so. Because no matter how much you dress it up, a faction that requires 100 usd minimum for a minimum sized battle line unit isn't a faction that I will play, and I don't think I'm alone there.

That's a bit odd though right? One of the oldest rumors I can think of (aside from Cthulhu Aelves) is Atia saying Pestigors are coming. Weird they would be only for AoS when Tzeentch got them in both.

There is a table of contents for the Death Guard codex on B&C, and interestingly for us here there looks to be no mention of Pestigors.

Yeah given that the first rumor sources said we would see the new Aelves at Adepticon, one has to wonder if something went wrong or if the Cthulhu Aelves rumor was true at all.

It seems to me like we are gonna get a small release for Stormcast, possibly just a Lord-Relictor pack. Maybe then people can put away the pitchforks. I want Cthulhu elves just as bad as the next person! But I also want a new Lord Relictor.

Not that I really know what I can add outside of the author telling you about the books haha buut: Pestilens is fantastic. Fury of Gork is very good also, between the two I liked Pestilens more just because of how crazy it was. A worm city?! I'll take two more novels discussing the apparent insanity that is the Realm of Beasts plz.
