  1. I think my response to you was caught up in the flames. So for posterity- I think the new model is likely Sisters of Battle because of Google researching the sculptor. Also for posterity my first version of this post was pretty awesome and "clever"er than you can imagine.
  2. It is almost certainly Sisters of Battle stuff. He posted on FB back in October that he was working on a faction he'd never worked on before (he does mainly 40k stuff). Regarding the earlier censured discussion, its the SAME people every single time who pile into conversations like that and turn it rude and confrontational.
  3. Yeah I think the release schedule must be so fluid that its hard to predict anything even if somehow you come into genuine insider knowledge. I cannot think that GW meant to drag out the release of Darkoath (or even Gloomspite) so far after Malign Portents. It ended up turning the event into sort of a 'meh' situation.
  4. I’m so excited!! for the....ummm..hmmm. ..... ..........
  5. 16 mortal wounds on a 6. Hmm. That’s quite a design choice.
  6. Don’t forget the second update at 1900 EST tonight I’m contributing to the overhype I know.
  7. If they got the same sculptor to do them who also did the Reavers, I would buy sixty day one. No hesitation.
  8. Any new Seraphon plastics would be great, the plastics released for that range have all been outstanding. As for Kroxigor….it would be easier to list the things I wouldn't do to see them get a resculpt.
  9. The track of words review is pretty enthusiastic about Hamilcar. I just don't know though. One of the problems with those reviews is that they aren't ever critical (that I have seen). I personally don't write reviews of books I dislike so I get that part of it, but he has reviewed a TON of Black Library stuff, some of which are not very great but still says are great. An occasional constructive critique would go a long way. David Guymer can be very hot or cold. I loved Headtaker and The Sea Taketh, but that was followed with the Learning which was perplexingly not good. His Iron Hands 40k books are great, but the ones he wrote for The Beast Arises are not at all. So I am pretty conflicted about Hamilcar. Will keep considering I suppose.
  10. Are there any review out yet aside from Track of Words?
  11. I heard this also. But my source also said Hobgoblins and the Lamassu were coming first sooo....
  12. @robinlvalentine I guess I read this differently than you.
  13. Ben made a post a few (maybe more) pages back confirming that the guy/girl admitted to him it was just wishlisting.
  14. I didn’t see that in the interview? He says the character of Hamilcar has moved in a different way since then but nothing about quality, at least if I am looking at the right spot.
  15. I sort of think Gloomspite must have been a test run of sorts where they resculpted old models. If that sold well, I bet we will see a ton more like it (just AoSmogrified). I don't really know how we (the community) can know this without just being patient, which is something I lack haha. I wonder if it is time for GW to just tell us what the plan is for armies. I know they want to sell old kits as long as possible, but man it would be a solid to do for the community. Don't need to know models, or spoilers for books, but just the general idea.
  16. I finally had a productive painting day (though the pile of shame is still high). I know they are nasty Vanguard but I love the models. Working on a backstory for the Chamber but I think I’m gonna stick with this general paint scheme.
  17. Test unit finished. I think I’m sticking with Mor’phann despite the fact that they look closer to Fuethan.
  18. By passive-aggressive do you mean responding directly to that person and telling them what my issues are? If so, then yes that is what I am doing (but I don't think that is what passive-aggressive means). And I think you and I are talking past one another, because when I said discussing the rumor I meant discussing the actual rumor as in the source and validity of that rumor. I think that's a thing, you don't I suppose. Cheer up is a bit odd. I've enjoyed discussing these rumors or whatever they are with other people today.
  19. I will just leave this here. I assume discussing a rumor can include literally discussing the rumor?
  20. Yes rumors are rumors. And like I said, I am glad people come to share. LLV got things wrong and he got things right which is frankly what I would expect with the telephone game of rumors. What he didn't do was check during the span of hours with a source and ping back in with updates. He also didn't claim to have had inside info on release for 8 months prior, which is perplexing. Maybe it is just because if someone told me about deepkin, then told me about 2d edition, and both were right...I would have decided they were the real deal. Even more so when they were right about new Stormcast, Nighthaunts, Beasts of Chaos, and Wrath & Rapture all in sequence. @Ndabreaker so I am not being passive aggressive here I think I've made my point. I will eat the massivest amount of crow for sure when/if you are proven correct and I will do it right here in this thread haha.
  21. Look back through my posting history. You will see where I have on more than one occasion thanked other sources when they had less of the indicators I mentioned. @LLV was better. I would personally do more research before asking a question like that. To answer your first question, I come to a rumor thread for rumors. When I do that, I am suddenly not allowed to question the source? I don't think that is how it works.
  22. I think it is cool when we get rumors, but I also think its totally find for people to express some level of healthy skepticism as long as it isn't rude. For instance I will sum up what you have said about your source. Since before Idoneth were released (April 2018) this source has been giving you correct information on (only?) AoS releases. Even though this source has been right and not missing huge things like AoS Soul Wars box, you have never said anything. The Gloomspite release convinced you to share this source's information after 8 months of being accurate. Then, during the discussion about the rumors there was pushback on the Duardin rumor. Within hours you were able to get in touch with this source and fully clarify not only different information on the factions but where the faction update would come. I will admit, the source on demand aspect of this is where I got pretty suspicious. - I did just double check a post you made and you said "been correct on every release since deepkin." That is very precise for a source that already made a significant correction. I hope it is all true, and if so thanks! But you have to admit, trusting strangers on the internet with all the above issues is challenging.
  23. Oh yeah I was tracking the books. I meant the plastics.
  24. I did not know all those items were manufactured in China. That is surprising to me given GWs self identity as a manufacturer.
