So. IMO this confirms that "Her highness of Ruin" who as plan for the Everspring Swathe in Ghyran (from Book I, Harbingers) is indeed VALKYA ! New Models ahead ❤️

Yes thats all that's mentioned so probably for book 2

I think they mean the army box is the first wave, with the rest as a second wave?

Yes I think it's this. Obviously there will be more to come as the lore progresses like elite foot troops or knights and monstrous cavalry. I can see more realm specific characters and troop units being released in the future as well.

Well Whitefang liked this description so I'm guessing this is more of a Ghur/forest spirit/incarnate like the Leshy, not an undead thing.

Someone on Dakka posted a little about the Old Stag and reading that it sounds cool- possibly a creature for the Kurnothi  mirroring  Drycha for the Sylvaneth? The flayed skin maybe reflected on the horns of the rumour engine pic.

Yes If you read dark harvest by josh Reynolds it's believed to be a shard of kurnoth running round the swamps in ghyran killing stuff. Would be a great addition to the sylvaneth range.

You forgot Blood Bowl, Warcry, Kill Team, Underowlds, Epic and the Battleforces. And who knows if Old World would be released too.

We will get a better idea after the preview next week as that will be the focus of what GW will be releasing in Autumn

  5. Re timelines, Autumn is from 23 September to 21 December and according to the aos roadmap we have cities main release and Books 2 and 3 of the Dawnbringer series to be released in autumn. On top of that the space marines release will be in this time as well as rumoured old world and possibly the delayed legio imperialis.

I really do believe that it will be more than just one foot hero given the existing Underworlds warband, but it is just my opinion without anything to back it.

I'm thinking the same, just going back to whitefangs first statement back in March re Kurnothi release, just have a feeling it would be a couple of kits.

If I remember correctly Whitefang hinted that something it is coming for Fyreslayers. And Dawnbringers 2 has been confirmed to be Destruction focused while Dawnbringers 3 should be Order focused.

Yeah there was some hint from whitefang about this. Dawnbringer book 3 bring order based hasn't been confirmed but I have my suspicions that it will be plus crusade into realm of Fire is always going to involve fyreslayers.

Is it safe to assume that they'll be part of Sylvaneth? Can't see where else they'd fit and according to the Whitefang react it's not going to be part of a new army (yet?)

Or perhaps they'll be a Regiment of renown that any Order dudes can take? Could it work like that?

This was liked by whitefang in March

HOW HAS NOBODY REACTED TO WHITEFANG LIKING A COMMENT THAT MEANS A KURNOTHI RELEASE IS COMING DURING DAWNBRINGERS!?

I've been waiting for some sort of confirmation from whitefang. It makes sense from a lore perspective particularly if a dawnbringer crusade is going into ghyran. The question has always been how many kits?

Could be a Warcry war band and then something later with the Dawnbringer books. Orruks and FEC are clearly next and getting good releases as well as Cities so other than Warcry I doubt any other factions will see anything until next year. its maybe a bit early for Whitefang to comment with all this other stuff to come first?

I'd be very happy to get anything though!🤞

Absolutely, just wondering if the fec stuff comes in book 4 along with the fec battletome rumoured to be the winter release.

Ok it is embarrassing but I don’t know how to quote 2 different posts but this is from Whitefang from 21.03.2023.

Chill bro, when it’s hard to say right or wrong but there is certainly a happy time ahead, I laugh.”

Just need @Whitefangto react to this!

Anyway warcry reveal next week could mean out first look at kurnothi!

Yeah based on the things i have seen floating around here. My guess is that it Kurnothi will be part of one of the book releases probably a small wave or just 1 unit or model. Kurnoth isnt in the picture yet. I think it will be an AoS release and nothing related to Warcry although that would be a good guess too.

I was thinking the same particularly as one of the dawnbringer crusades is in ghyran you would expect sylvaneth/Kurnothi to play a role. Then again my question was regarding a kurnouth model release so looks like that won't be happening but that doesn't rule out a couple of other Kurnothi kits that could be released like the new cities hunters kit that was specifically mentioned for both aos and warcry.

During a long wait at the doctor's I did a search of the term Kurnothi. Whitefang didn't like a single post saying that Kurnothi would be for Warcry. They also didn't like anything that said Kurnothi would be a bigger release so it's anybody's guess what will happen. We could get a bigger release, a warcry warband or even just a single hero. Obviously I'm hoping for the first option.

It was this, the warcry rumour is because the latest gnarlwood loremasters video mentions sylvaneth and ogors which are 2 warbands that have not been released.

Kurnothi's Warcry warband is plausible, more than that it is not if we check the past Whitefang's reactions.

Yes think that's happening but was hoping for a splash release of a few more kits but looks like it's not meant to be.
