We move out of the Weapons' month. It is Kurnothi's month now?
The Rumour Engine – 2nd April 2024 - Warhammer Community (warhammer-community.com)
I'm thinking deepkin for this

This from @Whitefang back me up is looking more solid with confirmation that battleshock is gone.

I love the Sylvaneth warband! I like how the Dryads are much improved from their older version, I love the corruption on each of the Sylvaneth, the only thing I'm missing is an insect companion. More insect focus for Sylvaneth would be amazing.
Also, I still don't know how inevitable the Kurnothi are. We don't even have Malerion and his aelves yet, which are a thing in lore a lot longer than Kurnothi were. Same thing with Tyrion.
Dawnbringers 6 may shed some light on kurnoth following kroaks revelation to Allarielle. I'm optimistic we will see something when the new sylvaneth battletome is released.

This was my last hope for Kurnothi, it seems they wont be coming soon
Confirmation of the setting on ghyran and aqshy could mean new stuff for Sylvaneth when they get their new battletome

They mentioned tactic cards for spearhead and this made me think secondary objectives from 40k randomly drawn each turn. Anyone else think this is what battle tactics will become?

I think Kurnothi might still not be exactly what this forum thinks they are. They could also be 'normal' Sylvaneth that follow Kurnoth, like the Kurnoth hunters and Belthanos.
I'm thinking a mixed warband of aelves, forest spirits and satyr/ centaurs like in the dawnbringer short story.

Just pointing out that last year at Adepticon they announced new 40k with some model reveals but then at the end of the preview they also spent around 45 minutes going through all sorts of things like small rules changes, datacard reveals etc so hopefully more of the same for aos 4 this year.

Well, that's certainly something new! Would also match with the ending of Arks of Omen. Id have to review the rumour engines again, as some may come from Agents miniatures?
Its not new, valarak reported this week's ago.

Any info on when the legacy army pdfs are going to be released?

Looks like no AoS metawatch which was mentioned in the Sunday preview.

Anyone read the new white dwarf yet? There's a short story called "the call of the hunt: in the depths of Ghyran, the old stag stirs once more..." seems like a heavy hint towards more Kurnoth in the future to me
Yeah dawnbringer book 3 basically has some info on this. It's now a matter of when rather then if.

I‘m sorry for laughing but that was kinda funny too.
i figure it‘s only a matter of time before Sylvaneth get updated Wanderers. If they all look as good as „Cool“athis, it will most likely be a decent trade… until then, people should just let wanderer fans proxy their models. They‘ll also be usable in TOW. Still kinda sucks but it looks like there will be a silver lining at least
Yep there's some background I'm book 3 which is great news for kurnoth and kurnothi fans and I can see future sylvaneth releases moving from trees to the bestial aelves side.

I think the Summer King being the big 'surprise' that takes down one of the Dawnbringer Crusades would track, especially since they already kind of did something similar with Broken Realms: Teclis dropping alongside the second LRL Battletome.
They made a point of talking about II and III being Destruction and Order focused respectively, which could imply we're due a Chaos and Death-focus for IV and V. Given they've namedropped a fair bit of Khorne stuff in the Dawnbringers books, that makes me err on the side of them being the posterboys of a book rather than the new edition, but who knows?
I think darkoath more then khorne as we've had credible rumours about new darkoath stuff coming as well as the darkoath symbol in the first dawnbringers video.

would you saying the Ghyranite crusade will be drop out with Sylvaneths hunting and all forces of Cities and Stormcast focus the Aqshyan crusade to win/save her ?
Well we know one crusade will succeed and one will fail. Maybe the one that fails is the one heading to the mortarch of FEC?

So it appears that the carrion king is imprisoned in the North of ghyran by the OBR and they are seeking reinforcements to help hold him. At the same time the Wild hunt is heading north and I would say the ghyran dawnbringer crusade is also heading in that direction. With OBR calling for reinforcements this would certainly attract the attention of the lumineth to find out what's going on so would introduce them into the dawnbringer story if rumours of a warcry warband for them are true.

If we are thinking of the same Whitefang hint, they hinted at Aelves but just not DoK.
He liked a post about a LRL warband.

To get a rough idea about when this banner thing from DoK would be release, we could have roughly the following timeframe.
This Friday 4th Dawnbringers Book 3 Story.
Then another 4 weekly stories? So book 4 would be announced on Nov 18th? Am I right?Yes thats the preview show date

Keep thinking of the loremasters video on the gnarlwood where they referred to ogors and sylvaneth which hadn't been released at that point for warcry and shortly after the ogor gorgers were released so......

Yes in Dawnbringers Lord Kroak tells Alarielle that Kurnoth is not lost.
It's interesting that in the background since AoS began Kurnoth was described as a dead god but since the release of Belthanos Kurnoth is described as a dormant god.
