You never know, I would be suprised I'd there was a 40k Daemon release that wasn't a dual release for AoS. But isn't this new stuff just all tzeentch chaos space marines?-

They are more crackheads than mercenaries. But i think gw blew it by putting then on order. It would be cool to have a non alligned faction, you know? One you could use in any alliance you wanted.
With the exception of matched play, there's nothing stopping you using them with any Grand Alliance. Death faction with Fyreslayers is my favourite.

I think that is simply wrong: there is no confirmation of an Allegiance of the Realms book, it is most likely wishlisting by no-sources. That does not mean something like that will not be released; I actually think it is very plausible. But no confirmation at all.

This particular rumour is certainly a weak one, although Scanner does have decent credibility having shown to have a good 4-6 months insight with previous offerings.

You are right about LoC but wrong about Skaven. That was Harry (the other "legendary" rumour monger, meaning he also had inside knowledge from creatives). But it was never sure whether he meant to have seen something Skaven or if he was just guessing (wording was something along the lines: if I had to guess, I would expect a couple of months of Sigmarines and Khorne and afterwards Skaven).
Regarding the LoC: I think Sad Panda said many times that it was not coming until the end of 2016 at the least. So I guess that's it; December.
Yeah I don't remember seeing any actual rumours for skaven, it could now be possible that Hastings is just repeating Harry's guess with skaven.
The Lord of change has been rumoured for ages though as you say, and another starter set. I would be surprised if a LoC was released without some supporting faction release. I think it's entirely possible that there's a starter set with a tzeentch theme, especially after the success of silver tower.

Old rumourererer Hastings popped up yesterday and said the following are coming: new Skaven, LoC and a new starter box. No known release month yet.
Where was this? The skaven are a bit unexpected!

Glass cannon? 6 wounds and only dies on a 1. Each time a wound that would kill him is dealt he has a 16.7% chance of death (the same odds of passing his 6+save). A 33.3% chance of recovery. And a 50% of wound negation... you underestimate his survivability because of the low save. Plus his wise council buff is legendary.
It's not really 50% wound negation. It's 50% he lays down and does nothing until your next hero phase.
And yes he comes back with D6 wounds if you roll a 5+ but then he's more than likely on 3 or 4 wounds and will get killed again.
He's great I like his rules. But he's definitely a glass cannon, albeit one that can pop back up a few times if you're lucky.

Wow he is pure glass cannon. I doubt he will cost more than 180.
Yeah I would think even less. 120 maybe 140.
He'll likely only get one or two rounds of combat before being killed and the 5+ back to life isn't going to be reliable enough.
His damage output is pretty amazing though.

This is the thing there are a lot of better models to repack with a tweak.
So my gut feeling is this is like the extra retributors everywhere - a nice bonus that no one can be angry at but you know in your bones its business behind it.
They've a stack of this model in comparison to other models they considered.
Makes sense.
For me, this model is one of the best designed dwarf models I've ever seen so I'm not particularly annoyed.
Question is - price? Original is still in stock. Warscroll will be free...
£13 same price as unforged.

There's too much floating around to say what is what at this point. Supposedly we're getting 4 models over 4 months, but this is the first we've heard anything about a dragonslayer. Perhaps he mistook it to be the old model when it is in fact new?
No the rumour is four gifts not models. Only the first issue has a model, the second has a comic, other two are possibly tokens, markers etc
Does anybody know anything about phoenix temple update? They play a big role at the result of the European Summer campaign defending Phoenicium and their models are quite old. I suddenly though they were going to repack them but I haven't read anything suggesting this yet. Am I missing something?I haven't seen anything at all regarding the Pheonix temple.

According to the owner of my LGS, the White Dwarf miniature is just a repackaging of the jumping dragonslayer with a warscroll for AoS. Any of you have heard something similar? The guy who told me is absolutely trustworthy, but I refuse to believe GW would miss such an opportunity with Grombrindal...
I'd be surprised. That miniature already has a new AoS Warscroll and we've had a few confirmations of it being Khorne.

Curious too - the last 3 or 4 have been WD exclusive purchases and had no rules (vampire hunter, film director etc), could well be in the same vein.
I would be surprised if it isn't Age of Sigmar related. Massive missed opportunity if it doesn't have a Warscroll, rules for silver tower would also be cool.@ben pass the message on to the guys ;-)

What's the latest on Dark Aelves / Shadowkin at present?
I thought all rumouring mongering had them at a 2017 release but have heard people suggesting they'll drop this year? Both my wallet and my current buzz for Destruction hopes not as I'm sure I'll ditch everything for these!
Seeing @Ben rebasing old DE miniatures definitely got me thinking!
Very little to be honest. I wouldn't expect them in 2016. There is the possibility of a rebox refresh sooner considering the recent releases but no concrete rumours.

Does anyone has info on the new white dwarf mag? I read on here somewhere that you get a model with it worth £18 but can't find the source.

Has there been anything else said about the new dwarves? I remember reading somewhere that they were the Sept release but we are closing in on Sept and we haven't seen anything at all yet
Nothing else seen. I would expect very little to be honest, and it's likely the normal white dwarf leaks will be rare due to the new post-monthly format.

I can see where you're coming from - brother is a huge TK fan/collector so I hear similar comments from him. The season/age that we've been in was very much Order & Chaos driven but this is now done and ultimately re-established Order as the guys currently at the top of the tree.
I actually think Death is being saved up for something special. Chaos has received a bit of a kicking and Destruction only just emerging as a force. Likely Nagash has been waiting in the wings to see what happens and has some devious machination to twist things to his own ends - which would be very thematic!
Possible. From what I remember of the current fluff nagash is building his power up. But the next story arc is meant to be focused on tzeentch Slaanesh and Shadowkin so might not see any death until that arc has finished.

Generally the posts within the thread itself are from others posting the immediate news as it comes out. I mainly just update the first post with advanced rumours. A lot of the recent releases were rumoured and documented months ago.
I normally post as well when I update the main thread so just keep an eye out for them.

Flipping heck - it's like I rubbed a Genie's lamp and six minutes later I get my answer [emoji4]
Problem is all the decent rumour mongers have gone except Sad Panda who also hasn't posted anything in a while.
GW seem to have clamped down a lot recently.
If you check the first post I keep it updated with everything I hear and a bit of speculation and pricing together, although exact order and dates are hard to come by.

Black Library has started a new Coming Soon section where they preview upcoming releases for the next four months.
There are no Age of Sigmar books on this page so I would not expect any campaign books or novels before February. Although normal army releases are still possible as they wouldn't show up here anyway.
Although not really a rumour for AoS it should be a good place to keep an eye on for a future release as there was always a novel released with a campaign book for the Realmgate wars. So this should give us four months advance warning.
