Also the Chaos Lord on Karkadrak has the CA to give them reroll charges and add 1 to hit rolls. Pretty sweet.
Yeah, and as much as I love the model, a regular CLoDM does the same thing for less points.

Hey guys,
I am looking to start my nurgle army... I am looking for an out-of-the-box painting scheme. Really I am thinking a frozen/frost Nurgle list. Almost Norsca like with Gutrot Spume becoming the new Wulfrik (maybe ; )). Anyway, does anyone have any pictures of a frozen nurgle list or ideas to bring this to creation?
I just had a mental image of a snot-sickle

I bought some clear plastic rods that are 3' long. I simply cut them to the desired lengths. No more issues.

A unit can't be part of two different Battalions that require the unit.
It can be only part of a second battalion if that second battalion requires the Battalion the unit is included.
This is stated in the corerules in the part "Battalion Abilities" Sentence 2
That's what I thought, I just couldn't find it. Thanks.

Okay this has probably already been answered: Can units that are taken to fulfill the requirements for one battalion be used for a second battalion?
I.E. I take Depraved drove and then want to make them a desolating beastherd?

Do you guys think it's always a given to take a Battalion at 2000 points?
I do. Changehost fits in (although it's a bit tight now). It ends up being 1 drop.

Thank you very much to all! @TheArborealWalrus yes, that's own what I'm looking for: not low model count army, but low size unit
Actually I love brayherds models; which "big pieces" (dragonogors, bulls, cygor, etc) are better to accompany brayherds?
Let the rule of cool guide you here.

Thanks. Sucks for my goats tho.

Apologies if this was already asked and answered, but :
Can I 'purchase', at 50 pts apiece, as many extra CP as I can afford? Or am I limited to only one?
The GHB 20 seems to indicate that only one can be bought (pg 88).
However, I can add as many as I want when using the list builder app on WH Community and I see plenty of lists on here that people have posted where they're taking more than one extra CP. (or so it would appear)
This is kind of important for how I'll be building my BoC Allherd lists.
Thanks in advance.

And look what they did to my poor Thaumaturge.
What's wrong with him? He looks solid, although I've never put him on the table....yet.

Ok..... I've searched and can't find the answer. If this has been answered before, sorry to bring it up again....
That being said, here's the question:
If I give a shrine a particular mark, is that the only gift that can be prayed for? I.e. Mark of Khorne gets Khorne buff only or can it have a mark and the prayer used is determined by the target units mark?
I don't use it often, but I want to be sure I'm using it correctly when I do bring it.
Thanks in advance!

I was thinking something along the lines of below but I get kinda lost after 1000pts.
Allegiance: Beasts of Chaos
- Greatfray: Gavespawn
Beastlord (90)
- General
- Command Trait: Unravelling Aura
- Artefact: Mutating Gnarlblade
Great-Bray Shaman (100)
- Lore of the Twisted Wilds: Viletide
Great-Bray Shaman (100)
- Lore of the Twisted Wilds: Vicious Stranglethorns
Doombull (100)
10 x Bestigors (120)
10 x Bestigors (120)
10 x Bestigors (120)
10 x Ungors (60)
- Mauls & Half-Shields
30 x Gors (200)
- Two Gor-Blades
20 x Ungor Raiders (160)
3 x Bullgors (140)
- Great Axes
3 x Bullgors (140)
- Great Axes
Ghorgon (160)
Ghorgon (160)
Cygor (140)
Wildfire Taurus (80)
Total: 1990 / 2000
Extra Command Points: 0
Allies: 0 / 400
Wounds: 179
I personally prefer a 40 man mob of raiders over the gors......40 shots, rerolling 1s AND 2s, 6s generating extra hits..... what could be better than that?

This looks fun

And I've already searched through this thread for discussion on fiends, but I still want to ask: What is the point of this unit supposed to be?
For example you could include a keeper instead that will actually generate depravity points, doesn't have the -1 to enemy wizards' casting aura but instead does unbind and cast two spells a turn including the excellent Song of Secrets and Progeny of Damnation spells and the realm spells, isn't exactly a slouch with its own damage output, has a 4+ save to the fiends' 5+ which somewhat makes up for the fiends' defensive bonuses (saying that, the fiends' defense bonuses are very good against units that want to roll 6+ to hit or wound in melee). On top of that the keeper costs 60 points less than the unit size for the fiends' bonus which could be the difference between being able to include something else or not. And both fiends and keepers are expensive non-battleline units, so you could say they are competing for points and thus the comparison is valid, it's not like you can slap in as many of both as you want.
I would want to include them, but it seems very hard to justify because of their anti-synergistic role with the rest of the army, being built for exactly what you don't want a non-HERO unit like them to be doing. Does this unit need to be fixed in an update? or is there a role for them that I'm missing to see, as I desperately want the case to be? (perhaps it's the "good against units that want to roll 6+ in melee" thing? anything!)So far, I, like you, struggle to fit them into a list. I really think the biggest fail is that they aren't even fitted into a single battalion (other than the W&R one).
I can't even justify summoning them in, as there are better choices there, too. It's a shame. I REALLY want to put them out there......

Need some suggestions about wich reign to chose and wich 2nd artifact and for the list itself..i was thinking about mantle from ghyran to put on 1 of my shaman's
I'd probably go with ghyrestrike on the beast lord, but that's just me....

I have a few questions regarding this list since its very similar to one that I've been drafting up and wanting to play.
First off, I notice the changeling and other hero choices are being taken over other options like the Fatemaster and as curious to know if you think taking one in a heavy shooting acolyte list was worth it. I know it costs a cp each time, but to be able to reroll the hits of a lot of those shots, particularly from the +1 to hit buff from the coven makes them even more powerful in their strengths.
How do you get the Ungor of Tzeentch without allying them? I figured they required the Phantasmagoria Battalion to be taken because I didn't see them being able to be marked. Do you think its worth taking the Enlightened on disc? A unit of 6 is very strong with the new agenda system.
The Lord of Change with Rod of Sorcery is the most prime target in the battletome to receive the Chainfire Amulet, making him even more of a mobile artillery unit.
I feel like the point of the Pyrofane coven with the Wytchfire Coven is to allow the acolytes as many chances to unleash their Sorcerous bolts in as many phases as possible to overwhelm your opponent with dice rolls. Still trying to figure out the best way to do that though...
The Ungor are obviously allies...... at least they can be.

Along with reroll on cast from the blue scribes. Which is enough to make your spells quite consistent.
You only need 9 or 10 spells to get the Lord of change out consistently between destiny dices and casting bonus you can get access to.
Sorry, maybe I'm slow, but please explain how you get to 30 fate points for summoning a LoC with 10 spells?

To me I just count the dude holding the head as a banner and the skull helmet as a horn. Any opponent who goes rules lawyering over free additional stuff a unit gets isn't going to be a fun oppent anyway so no loss.
I remember once, a while back, some dude told me I didn't have a musician in my unit of marauders...... casual game mind you. I simply pointed out that one of my dudes had a harmonica in his pocket.😀

Bloodreavers with marauder shields is the best bet I feel. Kairics look too tzeentch-y, unless you are doing a Tzeentch marked army. Bloodreavers are just nicer looking marauders with a passion for skulls. Cut off any khorne pendants, maybe sculpt over some Khorne armor emblems with greenstuff to make neutral-looking armor plates, etc. Spare shields can be found on Ebay, sourced from Skeletons, Marauders, Marauder Horsemen, and Ungors. You could also make your own shields, but that is hard.
Oh well. I have re-based 120 marauders. I'll be damned if I'm not gonna use them now.

Do other people are also starting to see that daemonettes that where called"best infantry in the game" are not keeping up with meta?
I feel that they are best summoned, too. They are a slightly better than average battleline choice now but, with proper use can be a game changer.

hello!
I did this list and would like some input on this one.
bestigors have re rolling 1's to hit and 6's are 2 more hits. re rolling wounds with bestigor (Beastlord) and immune to battleshock (Keeper of Secrets)
endless spells helps me get more mortal wounds on spells/faster units.
1 unit on deamonettes for KoS CA.
ungors for battalion requirement/backfield objective holders.
every blob has run + charge + cogs + shaman 3" movement
2 of my heroes have Locus of Diversion (2+ and re rollable 4+)
Did i miss anything or is this a great idea? Comment belove!

The Book says Attacks and Spells, anything not an attack or a spell would not generate depravity. The FAQ doesn't say anything that contradicts that rule, a mounts attacks do generate DP. Secondly, Excess of Blades and Pungent Soulscent are not a rule of the mount they are Abilities of the Bladebringer on Exalted Chariot warscroll. You are confusing fluff and rules, and then confusing rules and fluff. The only thing on the profile mechanically considered the "mount" are the Daemonettes and the Steeds of Slaanesh, which the FAQ says generate depravity.
I'm hip. I was actually only replying to the statement that MWs don't generate DP. Guess I read it wrong. My bad.

Truth! I'd love to include pain bringers. But 150 POINTS FOR 5? That's too rich for my blood. Even in the old mentality of points per wound, that's a whopping 30 per guy. 120 seems about right to me.
