  1. So it is confirmed that the mark iiis will go up for preorder next week and custodes the week after. (someone put the custodes ebook on black library a week early. Why is it always 40k that leaks and not aos?) Anyway that means that we will see Duardin preorders on the 25th and released in April alongside white dwarf. If the rumours of new 40k in June are true, we will probably see the mystery new Aos game in May.
  2. Just seen a bit of potentially bad news for AoS fans. Some blurry photos of custodes and sos box sets just leaked. I am now guessing that they will be the 18th preorder with the Duardin saved for an unveiling at Adepticon and a March 25th preorder. This is just a guess but it seems likely.
  3. I guess someone got to Sad Panda. Hastings posts in the comments on Atia's blog. In the last couple of months GW has been pretty good at doing previews reasonably ahead of time. The next release (steamhead presumably) has been the exception. It is possible, as someone said, that they don't want to divert attention from gathering storm 3 which is a very big release for them. At the latest we will see retailer info next Monday, but I will be very surprised if we don't see something official before then. Regarding the rumour engine pic, it is almost certainly a board tile, probably from the game they are planning to show off at Adepticon. Gw's recent boardgames have been great and have really revitalised my interest in the hobby. Just 2 weeks until the big reveal. I hope they steam it.
  4. I think it is a tile from a new board game, perhaps the game they will show at adepticon.
  5. The second game on warhammer live tonight is Stormcast vs mixed order. Would be cool if they sneaked an airship into that battle.
  6. Hastings popped up over on Atia's blog to say that it looked like the shadow Aelves. He made it clear that he has not seen any models just been told about them. The somewhat tentacle like ears may be a hint. He also said that there was at least one airship in the Duardin release (maybe a dual build) and that he expects them at the end of March. He said he has not seen those models either. Really hoping force reveal in the next 2 or 3 days.
  7. Just incase there is any doubt about what is coming next, here is another hint.I
  8. For context here is the back page of the December white dwarf. No mention whatsoever of gathering storm or the Tzeentch battletome. They usually want to keep the next months releases secret especially if it is something new. As a side note Rob mentioned that warhammer live that they would be getting some kind of exclusive soon. I think we may see the new AOS release featured next week or the week after.
  9. Just seen that Mark iii marines and terminators are up for preorder on March 11th so it is likely that we will see the next aos release up for preorder on March 18th. Hopefully they will be the new Duardin.
  10. It is a bit weird. White dwarf usually covers 4 weeks but the next issue only seems to cover three. It could be that the next week is filler but then why not give warhammer quest its own launch week. It is a big enough product to merit one. I hope we do see the duardin the week after Roboute and co as I have put a hold on future purchases until I can check them out but I think it will probably be the following week.
  11. If you go to the warhammer community site and search for rumour engine you can see them all. The unconfirmed rumours are: The first one which is probably a Duardin machine. A hooky spear which may be elven A glowing light with a kind of pump next to it, very similar to the admech robot datasmith. A blade looking thing with skulls in it A mechanical door which could be from an airship or a thunderhawk And the latest one. The guesses so far have been pretty accurate. Many people guessed Cypher's gun. Everyone guessed the Grey knight. Many guessed the dress was Eldar. Most guessed the 2 tzeentch ones. The only one everyone got wrong was the cat because they all thought it was a gryph hound. I think this is why they have been getting more obscure.
  12. here it is coloured in (not my work). The pattern on the left looks a lot like chainmail, which makes it look like an aos release. This kind of armour could be chaos, undead or orruks
  13. The latest rumour is probably 40k orks. My guess is Wartrakk or warbuggy pilot. On the aos side I am really getting impatient for the new Duardin. I should have silver finished in a week or two and then it is time to pick a 2017 project. From the old leaked pics it looks like they may not be in the new white dwarf. I have been waiting for this release since the first hints in the original aos book. I hope they deliver.
  14. The raptors and aetherwings are coming this weekend £20 or $35US for a box containing 3 of each. The human team and a new plastic ogre for bloodbowl are coming this weekend too.
  15. That is the week after. There is currently a missing week with just one known release. (The Feb 25th preorder)
  16. So it seems that next week we will get a combo box of aetherwings and raptors. Rob talked about on warhammer live and the pic of the raptors on the app has 3 aetherwings in the background. That seems like a pretty minimal release. This week we got 2 Stormcast boxes, warhammer quest and slambo. Last week was the Stormcast book, cards, 2 units and death world scenery. We must be getting something else next week.
  17. So the cogsmith in warhammer Quest has a shiny new paint scheme. (gold) I believe there was a rumour engine pic with a very similar colour scheme. (gold) Wonder what that means... Stormcast Duardin obviously!
  18. Liking the palladors more each time I see them and we have a bareheaded option for the aquilor.
  19. It is clear that this box is a reaction to the success of silver tower. I don't think this product was Greenlit until after silver tower was released. 9 months is a very fast turnaround. Sculpting a bunch of new mini's would delay the release for at least a year. Looking around the Internet last year, the chief complaints about silver tower were the overly specific tiles, the lack of a proper campaign element and the slightly dragged out Ai phase. The box seems explicitly designed to answer those complaints. If they listened to people's complaints last time I hope they listen to my upcoming slew of emails asking for a card only version of this game.
  20. Miniwars eu just posted that this week's preorders are the Lord aquilor for €32 (same price as the azyros) the palladors on gryph chargers for €45(same price as the blight kings. They did not mention the contents but I assume it is 3) and shadows over Hammerhal for €120, which lines up with the leaked uk price.
  21. It is definitely coming out soon as it is in next months white dwarf. what everyone has been calling a slaughter priest looks much more like a reaver champion to me. They are using the same sprues from the box sets so having sets of 5 and 10 makes sense. The user on Dakka typed it up themselves (possibly from an order sheet which retailers would be getting about now) so that explains the spelling mistake. The minis cost about £130 individually so it is a discount. There are also 5 more board tiles in the new box. Of course I would love more minis and a lower price but I expect this to turn out to be true.
  22. Check this out. Taken from dakka. Not impressed by the minis, but looking forward to seeing the new rules and board sections. I think I would have preferred it to be a card only expansion. Didn't see this posted before - regarding the new Warhammer Quest: WARHAMMER QUEST: SHADOWS OVER HAMMERHALL Warhammer Quest: Shadows over Hammerhall is a stand-alone boxed game for 2-5 players set in the splendid city of Order – Hammerhall. Up to 4 players can quest in the catacombs and dungeons below the city, while another acts as game master, setting fiendish obstacles, controlling the antagonists (monsters) and setting the story – it’s up to this player to take charge of revealing the secrets each dungeon has to offer. The game is fully compatible with the Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower game and the Hero Cards. Any miniatures or rules the customer already owns for that game can also be used in this game. In addition, the game has a lot of replay-ability, as character level up and increase their skills as you play. The box contains 31 miniatures, including: 1x Lord Castellant and Gryph Hound 1x Cogsmith 1x Black Art Fleetmaster 1x Loremaster 1x Chaos Sorcerer Lord 5x Putrid Blightkings 10x Kairic Acolytes 10x Bloodreavers 1x 72 page guide book 1x 32 page adventure book 18x double sides board sections 55x cards 12x dice A variety of counters and markers for tracking your heroes as they gain experience and skills under the city of Hammerhall £90, on sale 25th Feb.
  23. Andy Clark the GW writer who worked on the story for silver tower and Slyvaneth battletome, posted this on twitter. Hope he is writing a Duardin novel.
  24. Come and live in Japan. I have recieved every single issue on the Thursday before release. The only downside is that the subscription costs double. Regarding release dates it seems to be as follows. Stormcast battle 4th vanguard hunters and gryph hounds 11th remaining Stormcast releases. Aqulior, pallaodrs, aether wings, and the shooty guys 18th and 25th (probably) 40k stuff 4th March warhammer quest 11th March (probably) That would put the Duardin on the 18th. all these are preorder dates.
  25. Forget all this 40k nonsense. I want to see page 8
