Guys a question about spirit torment. His ability to Heal d3 wounds if 3 or more enemy slain that turn. Its about model slain During battleshock, or killed in the same turn? Thx:)
Ability triggers at the start of the battleshock phase. The models have to have been killed during the hero/shooting/charge/combat phases, as battleshock casualties happens after the ability.

Tickets booked for myself and my significant other, can't wait to make my UK AoS debut! Now to decide between Nighthaunt, FEC or Ironjawz...

Given that it's been a month and no further progress or response, I'm assuming this project is postponed or cancelled?

Expect a sizeable Frostlords delegation from up north!

Looking for some list feedback, please. Specifically debating between 2x10 for the bladegheists or 1x5 and 1x15 and whether I should track down another Darrakar for the mortality glass.
Go either 2x10 or 3x5, depending on what you want them to do. Three small units lets you snipe backline heroes, Stormcast ballistae, that lone objective being kept by a unit of five Revenants, while 2x10 gives you two solid smash units that can target more or less anything. Given your setup using Shroudguard and only 20 Grims, I think 2x10 is the best choice. 15 or 20 rarely pays off until you've lost nearly half your unit, at which point you're already in trouble.
As for Darrakar, you absolutely should. So underrated, especially if you run Chainguard. -
Dropped you a PM as well, look forward to discussing possibilities.

Definitely interested.
Have a particular interest in games theory, games design, narrative structure, business strategies and competitive gaming, but am also fanatically devoted to the creative and hobby side of things. Always looking to challenge myself, so more than ready to take this challenge. -
I've subscribed, of course. The cost is less than a beer. However...

This really should read "no ads" for a paying subscription.

I think the Shackles are a no-brainer for DC. Even @Kaleun has a list at 1980 points that have room for them, and the amount of board control they provide is amazing. With the reliance om movement and counter-charge that defines a competitive DC-build, they far outclass a lot of other spell options tactically.

Checking to see if I can get a team from Norway on this.
Barring unforeseen circumstance, you have my Ironjawz.

Yeh perhaps, it's not a bad idea...though how do you justify the fly rule?
Those leg muscles, man. Leaps like Kal-El. Just bobbing across the battlefield without a care.

Yeah sure its pretty simple legs/body/left arm are standard crypt horror but with the spikes trimmed off . Right arm is crypt horror cut and rotated at the elbow and giant bone in its hand cut away and the hand drilled . tail is from one of the everchosen steeds . Head is from the a.o.s box set flesh hound with the ruff removed . Horns are the ones from the slaughter priest with the 2 handed axe . Weapon haft is from a everchosen spear and the axe is from the everchosen as well .
Thanks! I was actually referring to the painted dude in red, though... Could possibly have been clearer on that. Both minis are amazing, but the energy and pose of that warrior just got me.

@curnow Oh, wow, that model is beyond fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous. Is it too much to ask for a bits list?
-
@OrfeoCulzean Oh wow... that vampiress body riding a Seeker is almost exacly the same conversion idea I had, albeit with very different bits. Yours turned out incredibly amazing, and gave me a whole new perspective on my own idea. Absolutely gorgeous.

Im also considering the idea of an Order character gone rogue with Daemon summoning, but im not too sure who would be suseptible to Tzeentch's favor.
I think the beauty of Tzeentch is that literally anyone can fall to his machinations. While Khorne are tradiotionally warriors of prowess, Slaanesh are pleasure cults and excessive lifestyles, Nurgle are well, filthmongers, Tzeentch to me has always been more the schemers, the covens, the seekers of forbidden knowledge. You can argue these are found among all the sentient races, and humans in particular (remember Egrimm van Horstmann!) You could even argue Orcs have unwillingly embraced Tzeentch, in the guise of Gork or Mork.
In short - do what you want! The important bit is the model, and the vision you want to create. Rules and lore, you can add later

So, for my first trick, I cut up a Sorceress, a Fleetmaster, a Daemonette, a Medusa and a Tomb Banshee, to create two Slaaneshi Aelves, my take on the elusive Shadowkin.
For my next trick, I will cut up the Yncarne and a Callidus. And more Daemonettes.
(before you ask, the small succubus sprite is from the Mantic Games Kings of War Forces of the Abyss Succubus regiment box set.)

I'm thinking of making a warband of retainers both living and undead from a decaying manor house, lost somewhere in the endless marshes. I don't know the AoS setting well enough to be sure that it's got somewhere like that, but there seems to be room for a bit of everything that's suitably grotesque.
Just do it anyway, don't let the notion of lore hold you back. The idea sounds amazing.
Remember to post pictures

I won't lie - I grinned just a little bit extra when I saw your name on an AoS painting thread. Having followed your work for years on B&C and other places, it's awesome to see you turn your creative juices to this game.
Really looking forward to seeing the painted Cannon in particular, such a brilliant little conversion to make it truly unique and not just "Chaos with Skaven".
