  1. Play Warcry and think Necromunda style would be better - AND would get some other players in my group in who don't play, if it did as they are looking for that fix but AoS. Edit: so if it changes, great, it it doesn't well OK, if a new game that isn't Warcry brings what my groups after then even better!
  2. Intriguing post from my local store: Weird hint about weird things, or just some Warhammer store staff jibber-jabber? I'm kind of assuming the later.
  3. Yeah, I'd be fine with multi-species-kits too that let you build 10 of whatever species. Best of both worlds I guess? What I don't want is [new cannon with dwarf only crew], [new cavalry with elf only riders] type units. If I wanted to play short humans, or tall humans with pointy ears, or humans with horns, or humans who are lightning, or humans with too many arms, or humans who are also livestock... I would play a faction that already caters for that aesthetic. I'd like some mostly normal humans, please. Understandably I'm making the reverse logic argument mirror of "convert your elves or use the elf parts of the theoretical multi-sprue" which can easily be shone back at me as "then convert the fixed elf units to be human by placing human heads on them or model swap those dudes". Aaagggh the light of the mirror! It burns! I dunno what the right answer is lol 🤷‍♂️. Edit: Either way works for me, my CoS are heavily converted and mostly either headless or with a mask/hood/hat fully obscuring them anyway. Worst case I sculpt and print my own drop-ins for anything that I desperately can't convert/kitbash.
  4. Probably an unpopular take, but I'm personally hoping that with enough time CoS gets it's wave 2 replacing the old kits or removing them and becomes human only with a special system unique to them for taking regiments from "cities species" like elf and dwarf factions etc. with an additional keyword or two so they synergise well - or something like that at least anyway.
  5. I wonder if they're gonna do an article about the terrain some time soon to fill out the posts?
  6. This is my understanding, yeah. I agree wholeheartedly, he's one of their "humanoid monster guys" with a lot of great models under his belt (Troggs, Morbheg, etc.) and executed the brief very well. He's a very talented 3D artist. I still remain hopeful there is more future intent for the design brief than just a one off choice model.
  7. Vince Venturella has now also stated on a VOD today that he also knows, for a fact and can't go into how, that Kragnos was definitively an original design mandate not intended for BoC. His body language also backed up the seeming truthfulness of it (which corroborates the HeyWoah VOD I noted earlier in the thread). While both HeyWoah and Vince are content creators, we can also attribute to them that they have no skin in the game for rumormongering. Vince especially. I think that mixed with hints here we can put to bed the "Kragnos was pivoted" assumptions more or less completely. It still stands as one of the weirder design briefs that has ended up in our laps as a model to me, but oh well. Someone made it with love regardless. Maybe he's got something to do with upcoming weirdness. Guess we will see with enough time. Video at timestamp:
  8. This is my plan as long as it's size will work. Straight into my Lethis Elden Ring themed Headless Demigod army. Fingers crossed it's a nicely sculpted sizable model 🤞
  9. Yeah, admittedly nervous about what that means...
  10. All I know is "Silent Lore Change Realms Hungry" means something to someone 😂
  11. 🧐 interesting! EDIT: It's gone! But now it's here: Hope for some weird destruction stuff remains 😀
  12. In the latest HeyWoah VOD - post his skaven model 90's doomvid (posted by someone earlier) - he mentioned that a source that he has high confidence in (and implied previous confident comms with) confirmed to him in response to his previous video musings about Kragnos, that Kragnos was definitively not designed for BoC and was a design request for a "centaur-like destruction god" as we have been told before. It also mentioned that the information included 'receipts' to him to verify it. Now, in the spirit of the rumor thread (and rumors in general) - obviously this doesn't make it objectively true... and we've heard this before, the tinfoil take was always that it was a model pivot - so if we give that information high confidence also, it reinvigorates my hope that this means it's a setup for a destruction 'beast-people' army on the tabletop and not just a very weird direction given to the design team. EDIT: Link to video at timestamp:
  13. Either way, I want a proper Necromunda style Mortal Realms game sometime soon 😍.
  14. So does this mean old IoB/SoD boxes might drop in price a little? 😅
  15. I thought we were told to can it on the racial / historical stuff? Let's do that and put it to bed. ✌️
  16. I forgot about this post when I was catching up. I meant to say it's got the wrong amount of digits for a Skaven, but the right armount of digits for a regular humanoid plagubearer/daemon of Nurgle (and the nails to match). Whereas the two (three) alchemist arms have no nails/claws and five digits, some gaunt detailing and elongated limbs/features like Nighthaunt do. My money is still firmly on a human size nurgle daemon for the bookworm and nighthaunt for the Jessie and Walter wannabes.
  17. Yeah, I'm interested to see what happens with the warscrolls for the same reason. Hard not to agree, it's the impression I get as an avid enthusiast of Underworlds as a game.
  18. Oooh I hope that's about the geist-wranglers part! I wishlisted that a while back due to that art piece. Would love it to be true.
