I just have to say something about the preview of today: From a humble servant to the King of kings... I will serve.

Being a Mortarch isn't synonimous of being friendly with Nagash, or even in goods terms with him. Mortarch are tools of the will of Nagash, in a way or another. Nagash is not just a god of the Death, he is THE DEATH itself. You can't have arguments against the primordial magic that created you in the first place as a mere puppet and/or extension. Nagash wants to everything and everybody becomes him, as a multiversial necrotopia, so if he thinks that you will be a Mortarch as part of his plan, I don't think that you can have many options...

Ufff... That lose hurts very bad... Thomas Elliot is my favourite artist of AoS, he has a very distintive style and I will miss him very much. I hope his departure is for a brigther future because GW has lost one of its best talents, and I feel a bit sad that's becoming habitual in a short period of time, Duncan, Louise, to mention just a few.

When GW release a miniature that makes totally different reactions (even opposite poles), it's because they are doing very well. I said it before and I seconded it now, GW wants that nobody is indifferent to their miniatures. Gross, goofy... IMHO, this judge is sublime and I can't wait to see what more GW has to show us with this new style for FeC.

I'm not against more aelves or duardin factions BUT it would be cool if they were in other Grand Alliances besides Order. For example, I like the idea of Sylvaneth in Destruction or Idoneth in Death.

The Grand Alliance of Death is all about Nagash and his creations, subjects and cultits but Death as concept have a lot of deities, some of them aligned with factions of Order, like Morrda.

Following a patern with Gorgers and Lofnir Slayers, I see that rumour as part of a Warcry band. They could be a coven that venerates Morai Heg as a Goddess of Death and hey, next campgain book is about Death Edit: If the symbol is related in some way with the Shadow Queen and WF say "it's elf but", that would means they are half-elf? Like Melusais or even dead elf entities.

You are not wrong technically

Well, we alredy have stormcasts, cities, skavens, and even khorne have a massive range. I see these battletomes will get more miniatures in the future but at the same time, some of their current warscrolls/old miniatures will be discarded. I think the same could be happen to Slaves if they get Chorfs as part of their range.

It's exactly the same number of factions we had in 2nd edition because 3rd edition has been about big and small refreshes, like they said at the start of 3rd edition in that video. 4th edition in other hand, I think will bring some new "flavors" to current factions and I don't mean battletomes for totally new factions but that factions will be incorporated to the current ones. Like: - Ulgurothi/Umbraneth/Whateverneth to Daughters of Khaine. - Chorfs to Slaves to Darkness. - New concept of Spiderfang to Gloomspite - New concept of Bonesplitterz to Orruk Warclans And any idea/rumour/wish you have could be a reasonable addition. Can we have a totally new battletome for a faction never seen before? Yeah, why not, but I think that 24 factions are a very healthy and sustainable for the game right now. Maybe in the future, we will see some additions aka Sororitas or Votann for 40k.

This kind of things contributes to stagnate the lore. If a character has to die, so be it (with a well written end, please) The setting and its lore keep moving, feeling alive ironically. If we learn to say goodbye to characters that had a great narrative arc, we will appreciate and treasure them even more. It's not like you can't use the miniature never again. Since Fantasy, players can use "dead" characters to recreate all kind of past events.

It's a bit nonsense but, I realised that the old Start Collecting of Stormcasts is named "Thundrstrike Brotherhood" like their new Thunderstrike armour so... What if the main models to be updated with new armour are the content of this box? I mean, we already saw Liberators/Vindictors for RoR, and Ionus got a new model in the preview. Vandus could get his new miniature according to the actual lore, so just a few Venators, Paladins as Winged Vigilors and Anihilators respectively, and we are done!

What about a new Gotrek miniature with a beloved babydroth named Felicia? The heirs of Will of Grimnir and Vulcatrix, respectivaly.

One of the beetles has a symbol that resembles Alarielle/Lady of Vines but what about the other? It has a similar symbol but with "horns"... If I have to bet about the Sylvaneth preview, I would do it for a new Kurnoth Hunter heroe as aspect of Kurnoth or some kind of champion/herald of him. As such Lady of Vines is the daughter of Alarielle and her right-hand, this new Kurnoth champion could be a mirroring heroe for Kurnoth and Kurnothi aspect of the faction. Also, this character could lead a new Army of Renown with a Kurnothi theme, with rules for Kurnoth Hunters, Arch-Revenant and Treelords.

Exactly, that's why I say that only armies with a big refresh get a uptade in its main battlelines, in this case FeC has only one. I emphasize "MAIN", because GW tends to let other battlelines without a proper update, likes the exambles as you say, for next editions. Meanwhile, Gloomspite and Sylvaneth have never had a big refresh, just "little" ones since they were released. EDIT: There are more signs this sprue looks like Crypt Ghouls for me: - Unit of 10 dudes with a lot of heads and weapons options, so it's a spammeable unit. - They ressemble the old Ghouls nearly 1:1 but "aosified". Just compare them with the transition of old zombies/skeletons to the new ones. But hey, if they are a new unit at least, it got better and better.

I think that sprue is for the Crypt Ghouls. When a faction get a big refresh, the first units to be updated are regular battlelines: Slaves to Darkness (Chaos Warriors), Soulblight (Zombies/Skeletons), Seraphon (Saurus), Cities (Steelhelms), and Ironjawz (Ardboyz). Why? Well, battlelines are the core of armies and if you want to start a new one or expand it, you need to buy some of them. So, it's very profitable. This is a good hint that FeC will have a considerable amount of kits indeed.

I politely ask if you could move this conversation to its own thread before it scales to a metachasing verbiage with passive aggresive reactions... This is the Rumour Thread and I think it's no the appropiate thread to talk about data, numbers, and competitive so long. Moving on to other issues... wow, what a week! Every day was an AoS party and this weekend we will have the first previews of Reign of Brute! Will we have some hints of the narrative of the next book? What do you think?

If you hear someone screaming like a savage beast in your neighbourgh, yeah its me, driving the biggest hype train I had in my hobbyist life. The art is beautiful and troggothastic, it capture the primal essence of Destruction very well. In regard of Trugg rules... Well, I think he is very fun and nothing combo wombo broken (in the first glimpse at least), a bigger Dankhold with magic surprises.

I see no differences between King Brodd and KING BROOD, I mean, they are big guys who bring enjoyment and happiness to their respective communities. In regard of the story... wow I like that, the main fighters are entering in the ring at last! 😁
