Just posting this again in case its true tomorrow lol

They mentioned in one of the community articles that Kragnos was inexplicably not trapped beneath beastgrave, but beneath another living mountain containing the remains of a trapped god, so I think we may be waiting on silent people.

As someone who hasn’t kept up with the lore...can someone explain to me the Malekith becoming Malerion thing??

I used to play Dark elves back in the late 90s, early 2000s as a teen before losing interest in the hobby...so I missed this whole thing...

Malekith got a new, trademarkable, name that he doesn’t share with a Marvel character in the transition between WHFB and AoS.

It would be nice if we got some picture of the box like happened with indomitus after release... like today or tomorrow...

    I wanna see that box!

They might be holding back because of the unrevealed second faction

@KingBroddthe nice thing about the Ogre of Cursed City is that he's based on the pre-6th edition ones, the classic gw idea before the whole mongolian spin. I'm starting to think they want to get back some "Oldhammer" style to some new niniatures considering what we've seen of these "Morruks'.

About the boxes:a bit angry that KO did'nt get one still probably they  would have put the usual ballon boys+gunhauler combo...i still hate that half the boxes did'nt have arkanauts.

KO got a box with an Endrinmaster and 6 Endrinriggers with BR: Be'lakor

The new rumor engines show a lot of angular shapes. The axe, the hook and the pommel of the club/grenade alle have this design cue. The great thing about new armies is they are designed so cohesively.

The nails on the haft of the axe are a recurring motif in a bunch of older rumor engines too.

  6. “‘THO’. The lands of Ghur are so vast and varied, that this cryptic location remains a mystery to me. As for the image itself, I can only hazard a guess as to what dangers we may yet face. For now, I shall continue my studies of both this machine and the temporal anomaly that always occupies my thoughts.“

Looks like Thondia is almost certainly it.

I was gonna say that as a joke, but now I'm seriously considering how likely it might be.

Putting content that’s currently free behind a paywall would suck, obviously. But I wouldn’t mind if we got more in-depth masterclass style paint videos behind a paywall, especially if they show how to do the actual box art.

True Chaos Dwarfs seem to the most likely to me, but I think their link to Hashut will depending on if GW feel like expanding on him as part of the Chaos Pantheon or just quietly ignoring him in favour of having them worship the much more (out of universe) known Big Four. I'd like to see him expanded and perhaps raised akin to the Great Horned Rat, but I'm sceptical as to if they'll do that.

The Chaos Dwarfs have been mentioned as firmly in Chaos' camp, so I definitely don't see a Destruction army happening unless it's something completely different.

Slaves to Darkness insofar as a few kits have things like the Hellcanon crew (rip) and the odd Dwarf among the Warcry 'cultists' isn't impossible, but I highly doubt they'd get an entire subfaction to themselves.

Speaking of the devil, if you shrunk her a few inches she'd have the right 'squatness' for a female Dwarf (of Chaos).

Also, did they just use the same files out of this?

The grip is much wider on the Chaos lady, which makes the pose a little less awkward

Sorry does anyone have a link or rundown of the GrimDark rumours?

Really getting excited for this army now. Just the thought with Kragnos allowing a proper Destruction mix, it's going to be amazing seeing a proper Destruction force, just a mass gathering of all sorts of monsters. The hype beckons.

Dominion is the name of the box set.

Half-orc half-goblin very spindly type of body, kind of messed up looking. Smaller than orcs, larger than goblins.

They are closely resembling the lotr type of orcs.

Their name is "Cruel Boyz"or something like it.

There is a warboss riding some type of wolf-squig-pig type of creature.

There is a unit called hobgobs who trade with chaos dwarves.

There is a shaman with a cauldron and a snotling that's strirring it.

    It never went off though.

Still makes sense being little sized considering a snotling is stirring it.

From my point of view, it’s the first thing they’ve gotten right that couldn’t have been gained from aggregating other rumors, wishlisting, or just common sense.

I get front-loading production for releases makes things slightly cheaper, but seriously at this point we need a new pre-order system that relies on Made-to-Order and not an existing stock that is highly susceptible to bot scalping.

a made-to-(pre)order system that looks something like:

    1. express interest after reveal in official survey to give GW initial production numbers, done through Warhammer account
    2. Email reminder shortly before paid pre-orders go up, for survey respondents and newsletter subscribers
    3. Official pre-order day is a finalization and payment of orders to make, limit 1 (or 2) per customer account. Anyone can order but pre-orders MUST be done with Warhammer account
    4. batch these orders by region or timezone, allow shipping to locations from the Store Finder
    5. ship M2O in these batches

I just hope to Crom we get some sort of M2O for the 3e launch box, so I have a shot at ordering it.

I wonder when BR: Kragnos will come out. There's a second half of the vampire release, Sisters of Battle release, and Necromunda too we need to get through too, but I hope we get the last installment of Broken Realms sooner rather than later.

There's also poor admech, who were supposed to release in April

Yeah, I'd like to see this come back. Archery is pretty indiscriminate on a battlefield - if you want to take out a hero, you need to go and deal with them personally, in hand-to-hand combat.

Adopting 40k’s version of the Look Out Sir rule would pretty much have the same effect

I wonder if these means the umbraneth/shadow aelves are sooner than we think 🤔

I have to wonder if they'll be independent from Daughters of Khaine when they come out. Malerion seems to be pretty well aligned with Morathi in this. It feels like GW has pivoted away from making many small factions like they did through early 2e, with Ogors and Orruks each getting their respective microfactions lumped back together, and Zombies and Skeletons staying under Vampires in the newest codex instead of getting split out like Nighthaunt.

  15. The arrows have a Japanese feel to me, and WHFB high elves had white lions who wore lion pelts, could be a new temple for Lumineth. God knows they’re sorely in need of a range refresh, it’s been almost two months since they got a release.
