Tauralon is a really cool model that I wanted to use when I choose stormcast and with the dracothian guard seems a fun list!

Grand convocation for mantain CP every hero phase + of course ballistas, tauralon for the comet and some support. liberators are the body, that can be modified, 2xlib +judicators for more shoot Dracoth is a punchy hero to go near tauralon.

Raptors for the +3 to hit. Protectors for some protection from ranged and a slow "hammer". Otherwise, we can take the patrol battallion to cut 30pts, cut castigators for another 70pts and put in a relictor for teleporting raptors, venetor or azyros.

That's make me think that judicators could really take a more predominant spot as battleline if they drop a little more on points or new sinergies coming up. The ven Brecth starter disappointed me a little bit even if I'm a new entry to AoS.😆

A list with 8desolators took 10th place out of 50 players, goldcon '21 tournament, only problem you might have is the money if you want 4box of dracothian guard XD, 1unit of concussor instead is enough on most cases. Also they aren't used so much, new battletome and 3rd edition coming, is much safer to go for 1/2units max and test them.

yeah 9 is a magic number, with raptors. Me too started with evo but I fell back on old units(dracoths, paladins libs..) and vanguard, really cool models and promising. All said it already but playing vanguard it feels like having flashback of 40k(aesthetically) haha

I like that you're so enthusiastic about raptors that you want to repeat the concept more and more!! joke aside.. I prefer raptors, sinergy with vanguard list if you want to go mono shootcast, don't need a hero for support only for them, they can be moved if in danger with LAquilor and 3models on 3bases not in 9 Buyed the second unit today, want to test them in several lists, in skyborn and stormtower battalions for sure.

Tauralon for support the Cats Comet to lighten the enemy untis Azyros to support Cats attacks or Heraldor to run and charge. Prefer Azyros with tauralon since he gives already +2 to move. Thank you for the detailed resume, always needed to understand better the game, personally I like the aesthtic of the gryph-dog, hope they could see more interaction and maybe some points reduction? Yeah, make an efficient "horde" army with 40mm minis could be fun to see!more libs for all!
