  2. im playing around with a MSU choppas army. Lots of 5 man units of ardboys and brutes. In that way i can get a lot of +1 Damage and i can guarantee i will get +2 attacks from waaagh. Think it could be fun but its still slow as hell This is the first draft.   3. I couldnt agree more. I really hope that the new battletome will "just" be the addition of kruleboyz, an update to big waaagh! and some point tweeks. Yes i knew that but a lot of people dont. dont know why...

I just played a tournament with 2 mawkrushas. 1 with Ironclad, Amulet of destiny and wierd un 1 with Metalripper klaw The first one is a great tank and has good damage output and the second one is just our killing machine. I would say that you should try the first one just to see how it playes.
  5. That could very well be the case. i would hate it if that was to be true but i could see it happen. Really love this mawkrusha build. So much fun. It's hard. i really like the teleport for blowing up screens or taking objectives with my 10 man ardboys unit but it almost never goes off. Right now im thinking Fungoid for the extra CPs or ardboys for more bodies

That ment we had 6 groups of 4 and you had to play the 3 other guys from your group. Also in group play we only played the Feral Foray battleplan. I played a Squg list in my game 1, a Soulblight Gravelords Kastelai list in game 2 and a Skaven list with a lot of shooting in game 3. I went 3-0 and was the 1st seed overall after day 1. that ment i got to go straight through to the semifinals. On day 2 i met a Dok list with Morathi, 15 bow snakes and Gotrek. Needless to say I got wiped in that one Takeaways: Defensive Mawkrusha This guys is a TANK. On day 1, he took a grand total of 3 wounds combined and in the semifinals it took the double shooting of 15 bow snakes, shooting from morathi and the entire melee output of a unwounded morathi to kill him. Offensive Mawkrusha We all know what he does but because of the threat of 2 cabbages he did SO much more work for me than i'm used to. Boards size and Get em' beat This was one of the biggest surprices for me. with "only" 1 mighty destroyers i was afraid that i wouldnt be able to get my 2 big guys into combat but because of the smaller board and get em' beat i was not having problems getting them both stuck in where i needed. Shaman I really dont know if i think it was worth the 120 points to have a green hand of gork spell in this list. Think i will try and change it out for a fungoid cave shaman, a wardokk or more ardboys just to see how that works. Overall i had a blast playing this army. Mawkrushas are SO much fun and it is still a straight forward, punch you in the face, kind of army.

  10. Really bad is a stretch. +3 to charge solves a lot of the problems. With good pile ins you can get most into combat. I'm playing today so i'll try both options out and see what works the best in regards to my strategies

  12. Totally forgot about the mount traits. Good catch. I have been thinking about warlord/entourage. I might lean towards entourage to because it is only 1 CP you will gain/miss out on Why do you think 3x5 is better? and how would you use them?

  14. They have already said that there will be an extra musician in the box. If they dont have an ekstra banner then i'll just convert one. Have the bits for it. I'm not worried about that part of it. I just traded the SCE part for an extra Kruleboyz part. That gave me the double up on Gutripperz, Boltboys and shaman that I needed. Now i just need the new kits to drop...
  15. i would say that Boltboys and gutrippaz are worth doubling up on. I know they will get new kits but i still think you can use 20 and 6 because i suspect that i will need more of them anyway.
  16. I like bringing him in Bloodtoofs armies so i dont "waste" an artefact on my MBoMK and with the smaller boards i can see him getting into a lot more combats. I dont know if it is important to have a priest in your army but if you have the points, i get why you do it.
  17. I tried to play a 1000 pts game and brought 6 boltboyz and a shaman. They are SO good together. The MW output came as a massive shock to my opponent

  23. Got my Dominion and will swap with a friend. That way he gets 2 x SCE and I will get 2 x Kruleboyz... Cant wait to get them painted and on the table
