On reflection the new Warcry scenery is the best thing in the whole release. It has a real Mordor turned up to 11 feel, and there is a decent amount.

I like your arguments. Reading the Josh Reynolds Hallowed Knights I think it is better developed than the lore on warcom and wikis give away. The third ed core book has fantastic sections on the cities of sigmar. I see a lot of contemporary fantasy influences creeping in, China Mieville with the cities in Shyish and Ulugu. I think it is developing well and by design has less risk of stagnation the TOW, in terms of lore and design. So I’m hopeful. A lot of the vague elements remind me of 40k RT and using my imangination to fill in the gaps. I like this.

Rise in gas prices has caused an Energy crisis affecting business costs. Also affecting manufacturing and food production. Severe shortage of hgv drivers has caused a supply chain crisis affecting the rate we can get goods to shelves and ship overseas. Brexit, retirement and tax changes are the main causes. Critically, this has also affected domestic petrol supply. The latter will impact GW the most. Other global issues around paper and card supply are also likely to impact GW and have done so already. I can understand their reticense to release a full roadmap but a release order and list of armies would be great.

So collected soupy rumours to date from here with a bit of supposition from me. 1) The ‘Naughty Elves’ collective. IDK, DOK. Will this include tge rumored Shadow Elves / Daemons of ulugu? Wonder if the old fantasy dark elves from Cities are included? Lore wise this had been trailed and they are all awesome models… 2) ‘Increase the numbers of the Beast’ by merging BOC and STD probablywith a reduction of resin in both lines. 3) ‘Dwarves ReUnited’. Khaderon and slayers. Again, will the old fantasy range be in the mix? They are great models after all. 4) ‘Dawnbringer crusades’ the original soup with a spicy new mix. Cities of Sigmar reworked with a mostly human focus but ability to take allies from the others. I would love more kits but wonder if we get upgrade spruces, heads and weapons etc.

Raging heroes have some good sculpts but Re highly derirative. Not suprised tbh and find it hard to defend their positions. Many of the patreon 3d model services are also patchy, lots of ‘not necrons’ out there as well as some that fill tomb king and bretonnia shaped holes in the markey. But its a grey area and a risky way to make a business. Maybe all these cool scuplters shouls just work up their own original IP…
