BAH! If they didn't do it for Lizardmen then they are clearly saving it for either a dragon or Exodites. Giants can get their own thing - vibrating water tricks should be for dragons and lizards and dinosaurs.

OR how about Peachy comes into the Office having sold their Bugmans Brew Recipe for Beans...Magic Beans.

They will be missing a huge opertunity If they dont use some sort of Jurassic park gag for it. Like peachy going to sip his tea and suddenly it starts to ripple.

This. I've been saying the should do the old Jurassic Park water trick with the announcement. Though Peachy and his tea would be perfect.

I'm mostly looking forward to see Sons of Behemath, but if I dare to dream I admit the idea of Chaos Dwarves returning would be sweet indeed - but I doubt it is something that will happen anytime soon, if ever.

Otherwise I'm content, but I really like the Specialist Games GW produces so I will be keeping an eye on those reveals too.

Anything Sons I'll take. Be it concept art, a base, the Battletome Cover, a glass of water trembling with Sons of Behemat underneath it. Anything to confirm their existence. If they are fully announced my mind will be blown.

I've been trying to temper my hype, but the prospect of seeing Gargants tomorrow1 is just....mmmh!

    1. I can say this as it's Friday where I live, hohhhohohoh!

I've yet to be this hyped about a Warhammer release in my life. This has been a dream army of mine for over 20 years and I just cannot wait!!

Doctor: Uh oh, I've seen this before.

    Nurse: What is it doctor?!

Doctor: He's getting his hopes up for a speculative new army.  That can only mean 1 thing.

    Nurse: No!

Doctor: That's right. The AoS announcements this weekend will be limited to a more official preview of the recent Lumineth we've seen in the Lowdowns, plus a warcry warband.  His disappointment will be so crushing... he may lose all faith in future previews...

    Nurse: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

This made my sides hurt loved it. Luckily my expectations may yet be met!! If not this weekend then on the 4th and if not then, then WarhammerFest and if not then!? Who knows but the God-King.

Nurse: *Sobbing* But Doctor, isn’t there anything we can do?!

Doctor: No...... I’m afraid the only thing we can do is pray that the patient realizes that the hobby is not dead just because the previews didn’t fit his expectations.

    Nurse: *Sobs even harder*

edit: Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all quarantine.

    *A standing ovation.

I'd imagine that'd be the case since gargants already work so closely with Destruction forces and even serve the other grand alliances as mercs, soldiers and workers.

Unless there's something really strange with them like a curse they should be a very compatible army.

Bigger. I want them to unleash the Kattanaks(three headed-bear monsters with frost breath). :D

    Kattanacks it is!!

Unfortunately. only if you are big business or work for one.  Those of us who are self-employed have been hung out to dry by our government.  It has come as no surprise given who's running it.

I'm sorry to hear mate. Hopefully this passes sooner now because of the Lockdown and things can pick up again.

actually with the Seraphon release, there a good chance the Bonegrinder Gargant may get the Dread Saurian treatment and get a upgraded warscroll when the army release

Hopefully so, I've never been able to get my hands on a Bonegrinder.

I'm glad they're looking after their staff but man am I kicking myself for putting off going out and grabbing some boxes while I had the chance. Is there any word on whether or not they'll still be updating the community site? I'm chomping at the bit for the reveals they had planned for adeptacon.

They have stated they will continue updating Warhammer Community. Hopefully they still reveal their full schedule they had planned for Adepticon, though I would understand if they held off on some things now to slowly spread it out more. I'd rather them not...but I'd understand.

Ah well, more important stuff going on now than revealing some Aelves. We’ll all, somehow, survive with what we’ve got to hand, I’m sure.

Now more importantly fingers crossed staff at head office, the warehouses and shops will get treated right & still get paid through all this.

I believe it's up to 80% of the wage in the UK can be paid.

I belive that GW HQ has already concidered the option of closing production and logistic due to corona even before Adepticon was canceled. Therefore I would assume them that the previews are planed nevertheless to happen.

Just hoping the Previews can still go ahead as no doubt they're pre taped and articles can be done from home. I'm 100% behind GW closing down, I cannot believe Sports Direct had the gall to call themselves essential.

Don't expect touching something new in the upcoming weeks.  I'm worrying about the GW reveals calendar: will they stick to it or will they dilute a bit the reveals so they can be sell the models later with the full reveal?... Back to the unopened  boxes for me (and unassembled/unpainted grey plastic) . I have so many things to do already.

I'm wondering the same. I believe this weekend and next they may not reveal everything they had planned so as to not mess with their schedule. Lumineth were probably for a April release but I'm thinking that itll be more like June at this point. Same with the Sons, probably a June release themselves and not more likely August.

Indeed, between so many options to put a hurting on large models like concentrating mortal wounds, anti-monster bonuses, mass troop buffs, Endless Spells and using dangerous scenery to weaken monstrous enemies until they're low on their wound chart and too weak to be effective it's not that tough to balance a gargant army.

Thus i'm eagerly waiting to see how they balance that out in the Sons favor with what magic and monsters they've gathered from around the Realms.

I'm expecting a few gargant kits but I'm hoping they go all out and give us multiple sub-factions of monsters like gargant priests from Hysh that heal, Aqshy titan soldiers from the fallen Khanate with Magmadroth-like beasts and frozen Jotunns from Ghyran that froze the oceans to help Alarielle escape Nurgle. Just a huge family gathering from across the realms for the death of their father and revenge on those that killed him (maybe also against Nagash in a desire to bring the God-beast back).

I'm a bit hopeful for this since GW said the Lumineth is "how they're going forward" which with the focus on diverse sub-faction models I hope it's in that vein of more Mortal Realms variety inside a faction.

I (extremely! ) want either that or Excelsis to be part of a new global campaign with the players help decide the outcome of the city and Ghur. Will it be saved and stand as a stronghold proving to Gordrakk that Sigmar isn't just cowering behind civilization and put their sights on Chaos and Death or will it fall and force the inhabitants to relocate with the new Ghur map and leave the realm open for Gordrakk and the Sons to threaten the other great cities and force the God-king to act at the cost of losing sight of Nagash and Archaon's battles and schemes

Also we definitely need the Lumineth Mountain geomancers to wake the violent spirits in Ghur so the already beastly mountains can move and go into a kaiju army battle with the Sons. Sons of the stone titan vs literal stone titan monsters. :D

The Global Campaign would be amazing, players actively affecting the story of the Mortal Realms as it moves forward.

I agree with the variety of Gargant kits. Ever since they were hinted at in the Old World Reveal I've been talking and posting about the variety of units and how insane GW could go, most people go "Look at the Knights you'll get one or two new Kits blah blah blah" but as others have said the Knights are already available for other armies in 40K and the Gargants will be a thing all their own!!

I want Ranged Gargants with ballistae sized bows and Cannon sized handguns.

Shamans with actual trees for staffs.

Soldiers with Armour plating, Chieftans and King Brodd himself.

I want Mammoths as Mounts and Scenery Pieces

Large Cave Bears as hunting dogs, Half-Gargants that fill the role of Armigers just shorter than an Aleguzzlar.

The Aleguzzlar to become the runt of the army.

And I'd love if every Gargant was tall enough to look Archaon directly in the eye. Monstrous beasts that deserve the title of Gargant, that tower over Ghorgons and Cygors.

Last but not least, Johans extended family. A bunch of extra Human and Free Cities soldiers to decorate our bases running screaming in terror.

Just a note the UK just put some stricter rules in place - so all the GW stores will be closed. Furthermore this could start to impact GW directly too as they are not an essential company. Tabletop Combat has already closed their factory and office doors for the duration and won't be doing any further work. Postal services might also be affected as whilst post offices might remain open; many are often located within shops and other retail outlets that might be forced to close.

Guaranteed that GW and its factories will close. Very understandable and for the better. Selfishly I wonder if we will still have the Previews though.
