  1. yes, it is possible.

But, holy ******, have fun figuring out the right point. thanks to circles on both sides I would think, that is impossible to finde the right spot. Also I would understand if your opponent would say "I dont think this model is in the right spot for holding that objective."

  2. Hi @ll,

if got 2 qustions for you:

    1. If Archaon triggers his Slayer of Kings ability (target is slain, not after all attacks are made) and a Lord-Arcanum is using the Cycle of the Storm ability to bring this modell back with 1 wound, do Archaon attack the target with the rest of his attacks or is the ressoureccted unit a "new" unit?

    2. Is there a specific order to use the weapon profiles on the warscroll?

  3. Hi all,

    I've got a question (obviously...):

For example one player has the S2D-DaemonPrince on the field 8" of an enemy Khorgos Khul. Start of combat is over and the Daemon Prince is not able to fight. Khorgos Khul can still be picked because of his ability and is able to pile in and attack.

Does the Daemon Prince fight back?

    Abilites:
    Daemon Prince:
Immortal Champion: This model fights at the start of the combat phase. This model cannot fight again in that phase unless an ability or spell allows it to fight more than once.

    Khorgos Khul:
Aqshy’s Bane: This model is eligible to fight in the combat phase if it is within 8" of an enemy unit instead of 3", and can move an extra 5" when it piles in.

    Goood morning,

what do you think about this list? Any suggestion? Thank you!!!

it's not a tournament list, but I think it is fun with 2 SoDs.
you can always drop the dryads für spites and outcast (because it cost less points).
with the xtra CP you can give both SoDs and the Hunter-Squad an additional attack.

  5. When the Lord Arcanum uses the Cycle of the Storm ability on an buffed Hero (Warding Lantern for example) does the Hero still got the buff?
And if it is your General, is it still the general with all artefacts, etc.?

    Cycle of the Storm
Once per turn, when a friendly STORMCAST
ETERNAL model is slain within 18" of this
model, instead of removing the slain model, you
can heal 1 wound allocated to it. This model
cannot use this ability on itself.

  6. Since the spells range is increased by 6" and not its effect, I think you are right.

    Another example:
SCE Knight Incantor stand on the Balewind and has successfully cast the Everblasing Comet. Now you can set up the Comet within 42" insted of only 36". When it was setup the damage range stays 10".

Bad example, range for setting up Endless Spells cannot be incresed (MS FAQ).

    Another example:
SCE Knight Incantor sucessfully cast his signiture spell where every enemy unit within 18" suffers 1MW and gets -1 to charge. If she/he is on the Balewing Vortex every enemy within 24" will be effected.
But if she is using a spell where you can pick a point on the battlefield within 16" and every unit within 3" will suffer damage. You can pick a point within 22" instead, but the 3" damage radius stasy the same.

In matched play you simply don't choose new general

    Gaming Book p. 23:

In a Pitched Battle, your general
must be a Leader, and cannot be
an ally. If your general is slain in a
Pitched Battle, do not pick a new one.

  8. Ah, I remembered it wrong:

    COMMAND TRAITS
    Whether cunning strategist or
    berserk butcher, every general has
a unique style of command. If your
general is a Hero and the allegiance
abilities for your army include any
command traits, you can choose or
roll for one for your general. If, for
any reason, you must select a new
    general during a battle, immediately
choose or roll for a trait for them.
Command traits have no effect on
attacks made by a general’s mount
    unless noted otherwise.

It is only for command traits, not for artefacts.

    ARTEFACTS OF POWER
These treasures are borne to war
by mighty heroes. If the allegiance
abilities for your army include any
artefacts of power, you can choose
or roll for one to be carried by a
Hero from your army. You may
    choose one additional Hero to
have an artefact for each warscroll
battalion you include in your army.
A Hero cannot have more than one
artefact of power, and an army may
not include duplicates of the same
artefact of power. Artefacts of power
have no effect on attacks made by a
    hero’s mount unless noted otherwise.

    Hi guys,. A small question.

When my general dies does his artefact , CA ( all the bits received from a specific tribe, chamber , host)  etc transfer to the next general? What if i don't have any more heroes, and the next general is a basic troop?

Also similar question, if a hero who has an artifact dies do his artefact transfer to another hero?

    Tnx a lot

    The rule is:

    CHOOSE GENERAL
Once you have finished setting up all
of your units, nominate one of the
models you set up to be your general.
If your general is slain, pick another
model from your army to become
    your new general.

As far as I know, you can pick a new artefact for that general. It does not have to be the same. But only Heroes can have Artefacts, so models form Units without the Hero keyword can't have an artefact. This rule is for Open and Narrative Play only. When playing Pitched Battles and your general dies he is gone for good.

    Hope I could help.

  10. ah, okay.

So the timeing is not like this:

Allocate 1 wound ability triggers - roll D6
Allocate 1 wound ability triggers - roll D6
Allocate 1 wound ability triggers - roll D6
Allocate 1 wound ability triggers - roll D6
    etc...

    but like this:

    Try to allocate 16 wounds - only 14 are legal - roll 14 D6

    ?

  11. Wait a second!

    The FAQ says

"Wounds and mortal wounds are allocated one at a time until a
model is slain. If the last model in a unit is slain, then
any remaining wounds or mortal wounds cannot be
    allocated and are ignored. "

    and the ability says

"Roll a dice each time a wound is allocated to this model that was inflicted by a melee weapon"

Doesn't the ability interupt the wound allocation and you can roll 14 dice and after passing at least 2 you can roll the other 15th and 16th die?

  12. I can't say for Fyreslyers but for Khorne allies you cannot add Judgements:

KHORNE PRIESTS in a Khorne army
    can summon judgements of Khorne,
each of which is represented on the
battlefield by one or more models.

The Judgements are limited to a Khore Army, so if you play Nurgel with Khorne allies you are not allowed to add Judgements.
