Yeah, it wasn't that crazy of a prediction so it's a wait and see if the rest pans out. There wasn't a timeline so Sylvaneth could be mid 2022 at earliest. The current book was out mid 2019 and that was after being delayed. And it isn't like that book was all that hot either.

Blue... I don't like the stormcast deco or that face... Red, however, much better. Not as obviously Stormcast-linked either which lends itself to conversion freedom. Decent head/face too.

Same as last week, Monday models. TS/Orruks last week, Stormcast this time. Makes sense, none of those merit another preview show and are coming real soon. Might as well use 'em as articles and save a big preview for August where you look at what is to come now that Sisters/Orks/3.0 are going out the door.

The one rumour engine with the eyeless vulture, yeah, I got a real good feeling which grand alliance that one is from. Not Destruction definitely.

They revealed Crowe randomly, might do the same for some things they don't want to hold for a Preview or sit on because the release is soon-ish. So I imagine the Thousand Sons mini and SCE/KBoyz leftovers. Coming soon and not really worth holding out for another preview, especially since they already did one beyond Dominion show.

I'm hoping it isn't Stormcast hogging them all To add a few in, aside from Stormcast: Noodle dragons of the elves in WHFB redone Seraphon Coatl Death, a second dragon so everyone stops hogging the bat dragon. Something less fleshy, bone dragon maybe. Adding any dragons to Destruction will be... tricky now

People really seemed to like this conversion in particular from today's article of Dominion stuff. Sorry GW, people still aren't sold on the masks. Personally I think the ones that look good, like Retributor mask/helmets, are ones where something sits over atleast some of the mask.

I'm kinda getting annoyed of how the Stormcast treadmill runs. Every 3 year brings a new aesthetic and you end up with a hodge podge of designs that don't really fit each other. It ends up feeling like every 3 years they roll for a new aesthetic. Thunderstrike looks nice, but did we really need to revisit 1.0 already, and now all the 1.0 stuff looks so weird if you use it.

Does it seem like KBoyz have a high number of centrepiece types to anyone else? Mounted types. Breaka-boss, Raker-rider, TBA fly-guy gives 3 mounted big monster things. Howdah guess also feels like a centrepiece contender, maybe just due to how "striking" it is. Gnashtooth is no small mini and is also a mounted hero you'd consider a centrepiece in other armies. Meanwhile they've got what, one troop type unit only so far, the Gutrippaz. Nothing else is battleline on warscroll builder.
