In a web here in spain also guess the list of contents from the photo, with links to the kits (ES version, of course) to save a few searches for some of us that don't know all the minis
https://cargad.com/index.php/2022/02/16/age-of-sigmar-stormbringer-posible-contenido-desglosado/
They also missed the branchwych tho!
QuoteI definitely overdid it with Mortal Realms in that way. At least I have more than enough Nighthaunt to keep me happy whenever I fancy painting something spooky
haha, same thing. I got 8 issues, here in Spain costing 2€ each for 13 minis each, thinking on doing 2 units of 40 rasps. Quite stupid, as I don't play and just paint. Got tired at 40. Today I've been painting some of the Sequitors, still.....
I hope I can make a big advance on Mortal Realms backlog before this comes to Spain....

Below the Arch-Revenant there is a Branchwych. I'll probably make this one as well. Maybe not full, but a good bite of it, sure. On Mortal Realms I got to issue 48...

As for what the OP asked for, have you seen this? @Gwill_of_the_Woods
https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2642992/first-impressions-fixes-and-additional-content
It looks like a great deal of work, very consistent and very expanded. I've already talked to my local store, so I hope this time I can get one....

Damn! Stormcast again? I suppose it makes total sense, but being just a painter, I already have 100 stormcast models from this collection in total (painted and yet to paint) and it gets kind of boring after 50
Still hoping for something different. Still two years to go....

Hi all, and happy new year.
I wonder how many of you completed the collection. I stopped at number 48, Reikenor. I still got plenty of painting work ahead....
Also, now that they have started the new 40k collection, we can almost be sure that there will be another one of AoS on 2024. In that case, what armies do you think or would you like it to be about?
My take is that one will be good guys (aka Order) and, for a change, vs Chaos. For number of old kits, I'd say (and/or like) it will be Cities of Sigmar vs Slaves to Darkness or Skaven.
What do you think? What would you like?

Isn't it strange that in the group photo there are all the new things and some of the old that suppossedly stays (vargheists, corpse cart, zombie dragon) but no sign of Neferata or Mannfred?
-
@FireAbend I'm feeling the same after watching the videos. Probably they'll need some house rules to tune it up. He is cutting through the enemies like a train!

Several spanish webs say that the price will be 155€

According to the How to paint video just posted, the bats in Cursed City box are Dire Bats, not Bat Swarms

In the cursed City Box Bats Swarms are already shown. They will get a new Model.
For me it is far more importent to see new Warscrolls. Bat Swarms and Fell Bats were not played because theire warscrolls are meh yet.
Yes, these, That's what I was going to say. Makes all sense they are going to be the replacement for current ones

They are rushing a lot of "how to paint" videos of these figures on their youtube channel. Should they announce the preorder soon?

I can still see what could be remains of tombstones and coffins on their backs. They look a lot like the Cursed City zombie.
Has anyone yet mentioned that Dire wolves are counterpointed on the Australian GW shop website?
Bats, fell bats and the wight king on horse are still there ('cause who would buy those???). Might have to wait until someone accidentally drops them on the floor at the warehouse before we are finally rid of them.
Not in Spain. Only fell bats remain here

So, being a necromancer himself, might he be able to control and/or summon his own fellas?

Being curious, as this will probably be my first Warhammer Quest game, I have a question. All miniatures from the expansions of Blackstone Fortress where new? or reused from normal kits?

Non-Nighthaunt player coming in peace.
Are the metal helmet/mask heads for the Crawlocke kit hollow? If so, what is their approximate size (i.e. height and width)?
Cheers
Hi. They are not hollow. Haven't measured them, but here you have a photo, with a 32mm base for comparison

In case of the Evocators there is a work around. You can use the cursebreakers to make the Evocators a unit of 5, you only miss on models with Staff. And Averon Stormsire has to be played as a Standard Knight Incantor. And in case of the Castigators you will have 2 units of 3 or a unit of 6.
Yeah, I had noticed that on the evocators with the cursebreakers. But what if you want to field both? 🤪 Not that I'm going to do it as I'm not going to play really, but just in case.... 😄
And for the castigators, I'd hate to have 2 extra sitting around doing nothing. Plus, as mainly a painter hobbyist, that issue is a lot of minis for the price. Nice value anyway.
Plus, in case of having to play, I like my ghosts more 👻

As for duplicates, one that is absolutely necessary is the Soul Wars one, because if all that is true (and it seems so) we'll get stuck with 3 Evocators (for units of 5) and 8 Castigators (for units of 3). That one comes with 2 evocators and 1 castigator, one ballista (nice on its own) and some sequitors (I have 8 issues number 1 so I don't care 😅). The other incomplete unit I see is the retributors, that we'll get only 3 (for units of 5) and will be the only time they come, so you can "need" some of those as well. I don't really plan to play, but c'mon, let's have those units complete just in case.
One other duplicate I'll get is number 40 for the alternative build, for sure.

Hi all
A blog here in Spain has made a series of wonderful posts about what's left on the collection from issue 40 looking at what is planned for up to issue 40 and comparing to the original photo of "what you get". Even tho you may not understand the texts, you will easily get the contents, as most of the names of the minis are not translated to spanish, as gw sells everything in "spanglish" here. I think you'll find it interesting (I got no relation with the site whatsoever).

This month I'm gonna switch sides and paint mostly Stormcast. I'll be cautious, because I still haven't got the method to paint them quickly. So:
- Lord Executioner (in last month's pledge but the shipment didn't arrive on time)
- Lord Arcanum on gryph charger
- 3 x Castigators
As a stretch, time permitting:
- 1 x gryph-hound
- 1 prosecutor
- more castigators
Let's see how far I reach!

Hello,
This month I want to finally do the bases of some minis to finish them off, so I'll prioritize that. But there will be some time to paint, and build. So, I pledge to:
- Paint: Spirit Torment, Guardian of Souls, Lord Executioner, 10 chainrasps (let's complete the 40 guy blob)
- Base:
- First bunch: a Mortis Engine, a Treelord Ancient, 10 chainrasps, a Branchwych
- Second bunch: Spirit Torment, Guardian of Souls, Lord Executioner, Knight of Shrouds on Steed, 10 chainrasps
- Build: The Mortal Realms magazine shipment for this month, that should be:
- 5 Dreadscythe Harridans, Lord Executioner, 4 Grimghast Reapers, 5 Glaivewraith Stalkers (one will be converted to a Grimghast Reaper)
- 4 Liberators, 1 Prosecutor
- Hopefully, the FEC special: Archregent, 3 Flayers, 20 Ghouls
The Mortal Realms issues arrived yesterday so I couldn't paint the Lord Executioner this month. Everything else is done!
Now photos. First, the Spirit Torment and the Guardian of Souls, painted and based. I even gave it a first subtle try at OSL on the guardian.
Next, let's add up the just finished 40 guy blob of Chainrasps, with the Knight of Shrouds fully based now at the back
About the basing, I'm very happy with the results. The Treelord, with some diorama-like pieces from the scrap bits box. I think it looks great!
The Mortis Engine, also very nice and funny to do, even tho I like the treelord's better. That zombie raising up from the grave...
I rebased a branchwych that was on a naked base. I used a piece of coal from a barbecue, because nothing looks as close to wood as wood (even charred). I liked the experiment, and the results are lovely. Good attempt at the lichens 😅
Also, I worked on "basing" the sigmarite mausoleum, for uniformity's sake. Sand and flock as the rest of the minis.
And last but not least, even tho is not about painting, I put some led strips on the shelves of the Besta (Ikea) I use for storing and display (the infantry part). The insane amount of minis per shelve made it impossible for the light on the top to get to the bottom. Still a lot to paint, uh?
Very satisfied with my work this month. On to the next!!

Exactly. Wasting beautiful and expensive bits is a nono 😄
I haven’t played and neither plan to. I’m only into this for the painting, but I must admit that I have thought about the collegiate arcane as well for converting them to necros. Good job on the left arm angle correction on Mannfred. I opted to just elevate him, which is easier 😇
-
Also, I you plan to mount just Arkham, you can tweak the bits from the other mortarchs to make 2 more vampires on foot, or, more interesting for you, I think Neferata just pass nicely for a jumping, more like landing, Necromancer (has clearly a staff). These are my approach to that. Neferata, just a touch with a heatgun while pressing to the working table, it gets flat for better adherence. Mannfred, some cuts and some putty did the trick.
Sorry for the crappy phone photos

It’s 80 issues, weekly. Conquest, wich is the same for 40k, started on january 2019 and it is ending now.

I'm on the fence about getting it. It seems like some pretty excellent value but if I were to get the whole thing then it would just about wipe out my hobby budget for the next 6 months.
Then you are lucky, because this collection lasts 20 months 😁

Looking for someone to share Stormbringer (Santander, Spain)
in Age of Sigmar Discussions
Posted
In spanish below
Hi all, Stormbringer is coming to spain soon, and as I know there are some readers here from Santander, I'd like to ask if anyone would be interested in sharing the collection. I'm not interested in a full half, but maybe I'd take care on some minis that someone has no interest.
----
Buenas. Gracias!
