Bridge is 'more than 9' as well. For the same reason pistoliers can't be used for living city infiltrate->shoot->move thing, which is a shame.

So we're back to no shooting, charge, shooting, melee, which is less useful. How about an Anvil of Apotheosis hero to go with them. A mage giving them +1 save would boost them to 3+, which could make them survive to the next turn.

I wanted to do such a list but the 5+ save and the T1 non shooting ability in the shooting phase put me off. I already got 15 outriders...

Your 18 chariot army got a 360 point nerf. The 15 chariot one, a mere 300. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone running any list that got hammered more by the updates than that one. Since chariot spam wasn't grabbing all the podiums before the update, I'm very confident in saying it certainly won't after.

    I'm sticking with Hearthguard Berzerkers.

Bro, the guy bought EIGHTEEN of them. Cut him some slack 😛

If I run a Grand Alliance Order army I can use the Skyborne Slayers battalion, right?

Yes. That's the beauty of it. You don't have access to SCE rules and artifacts though. It's been nerfed a bit since you can't take Malign Sorceries anymore and because most order miniatures are now COS, which limits synergies.

What list do you want to do ? If you go ORder that's because you have something specific in mind, right ?

Reads as you can bring back D3 wounds not characteristic, so a 5 or 6 is one lib on full health, and 1 lib on 1 wound. Healing storm ability brings them to full health though.

I'll have to look that up because I'm sure I have read the contrary. Will get back to you later.

Thoughts ideas about sentinels in our army?

Ditch the evocators, ditch the liberators and take wardens instead, that wil lturn your sentinels into battlelines too.
You'll have mroe bodies and more able battlelines, you might be able to take more sentinels too.

No rend from his knights nor the kairos. 3 libs raised over 2 turns (D3 wounds resurrection per turn), plus healing storm (latter is not a prayer).

CAn you raise a half Lib though ? I tought that in the even you rolled a 6, you could only raise 1 lib thus making those D3 resurrections useful to 1 wound infantry only

I think that we need to assume that we´re not going to choose what player it´s going to play first and make our list thinking about that (shooting...).

That didn´t change nothing, but until the next Stormcast BT...

Unless we Use Vanguard Mega battalion, Skyborne Slayers (1 or 2 drop version) or a mix of warscrolls to have 3 drops max.
Maybe it could be of use to make a listing of 1 or 2 drops lists that we can surely face in a tournament, to see if there's a point in trying to play that low drop game or not.

I've made a list that fits into @PrimeElectrid's thinking :  drops, lots of judicators, and a Tauralon+ celestant.

I think Stardrakes may have a place in GHB20, I just lean to the Tauralon because it gets you a cheaper monster leader, doesn’t require 5 wound support hero, and unlocks Sequitors as the only battleline which have a fighting chance against other battleline.

Another very important question but one you didn't ask yourself is, how many one or two drop armies are we going to face ? Do we need to try playing that game too or our battalions are too bad to even try ? The fewer drops we have the less at risk our heroes are if we can alpha strike really hard, to remove opponent's key pieces.

    Don't think there are, alas.

This is definitely a niche army, but having tried them out this weekend, that near limitless option of tanky and cheap liberator walls with kharadron air support was pretty effective, even with lousy dice rolls. 10 man blob of libs for 180pts with a lord relictor stood up well to a kairos fateweaver and knight support long enough for another blob of libs with a lord celestant to finish off kairos. Casaulties were very light (5 libs slain - three of these resurrected by relictors prayer). Holding or taking objectives is pretty useful too. +1 melee hit against a counter charge and arkanauts get +1 to hit 9" from objective. Needed that with all the 2s and 1s I was getting!

Onyx shield wall was the stand out for me though. Better save than Teclis (and Kairos!), and with some buffs, libs can finally stand toe to toe with Chaos Warriors.

Didn't your opponent have rend ? Also, how did yo uraise 3 libs ? Even with two relictors, you could have raised 2 at max, right ?

Not quite sure where to put this so I leave it here:

Have any of you magnetized your Dracothian Guards? Is there a guide somewhere on the web to show where exactly to put the magnets and where to cut something away? Because I lack imagination right now, the spaces at the shoulder for example are to narrow to fit a magnet.

Yes, you should, especially in a world of changing points value.

i found that xbolt judicators dont work well with a lord relictor but bow judicators are awsome. Its cause of the range so would keep the bow dudes. I like how the new points make this list possible but i dont think its strong cause its 1 treath and thats 20 juds. Would love 2 treaths atleast:)

Thanks for your input. Yes, it's only one threat on the table, alas, there's not much to be done when we try to take battalions for less drops possible!
IF drops aren't a concern then it could be working as a different list. There's around 500 points that could be spent on a second threat unit, but then, we have more drops and if we go for more drops route, then why not go Starcast ^^

LCoD is 2+ with LC's light, reroll 1's, ignore rend 1.
Relictor can heal LCoD and cast bless weapons on judicators. Castellant protects (like the Emperor) with the reroll unmodified 6's to hit during shooting phase.
Heraldors are droped where convenient for D3MW fuckery.

Alternative would be to swap one heraldor for vexilor but to do that you need to downgrade the LCoD to a LC. If you do then crossbows judi over bolts one because TP would mean no problem with range.

3 drops so there's a good chance you'd go first and wreck faces. Quite mobile for objective taking with the Prosecutors.

What do  you guys think ?
