  2. It says instead of making a normal move, are you sure that it does not count? If it true maybe I should insert one units of them.
  3. Main problem of SoW is: 1) they force you in play one waywatcher, which is imo worse then wayfinder now. Why? Cause finder has an average of 11 arrows (which was like 5 wounds) in the first turn. (18" + 6" range, he can move!). 2) SoW cost more, but barely by math widely better. Anyway if you consider that: a) if you start you are at 18" at least from your opponent, so you must move in the first turn (no multi shot); b) They usually sit near objectives, so your opponent can easy predict your multi shoot range 18". (Glades has range 20" + 6" always). c) They mean lower bodies (cause they cost more), which should be ok if their tankines would have been better then just 1 point in TS and deal 3 wound before combat to the charging unit. The only good thing is that they have the countercharge ability, but you lose the initial advantage of starting first and mass shot with rend 3 one unit. In the end, we should keep in mind that we can't win with only arrows in aos. That's why we need cac. I suggest, if you want to play full aelv, a list of wanderers battalion plus OoD battalion. 2 drop. First turn arrow plus dragon lord release. I think it can sound. In august I will test these stuff and report the results, problems and wayouts.

With that in mind, I 've added PGs because tthey don't test and their wound roll is rerollable. On top of it i have a unit that can tank mortal wounds in the middle field (so it screens) and adds me an unbind roll. If you have any other idea of list, please let us know. Maybe i can improuve this one or change it.

  6. Let's start with the principle that "GA order is always better then any order army without rules". This principle doesn't consider the fact that the list can be a bunch of different models and can be aesthetically ugly. A will explain better my GA list with wanderers. For sure the idea was to play aelfs. About Draconis I can say that 1 battalion with 2x5 Blades and Dlord with ethereal amulet it's one of the best picks for a GA Order army.
  7. PG always. Easy to see that against rend 0 or mortals PG are stronger. On top they can move! And they Don t test if you grab 1 anoited (with it you can reroll wound also and dispell). Plus they hit better on the field cause of their 2x aa, which is on paper equal per point but not in game.

  10. Sisters can hold and buff the 10 knights that are selected later or a Dragon. At least they can grab an object at 15". I don't think you might have better options. Maybe you should switch to mixed order as usual
  11. Good list but illegal with 2 allies i think. I can advice some optimiziation because you have to focus on having low drop as you want to start first: Dragonlord - General - Legendary Fighter (+1 attack for the lance) Lance/Horn  Artifact: Dimensional Blade (rend 4 here -> first selection always) or Quicksilver potion (so you can select knights at first). Dragonlord - Lance and Horn Artifact - Dopplegenger cloack - Better substitute of potion Dragon Blades x 10 Dragon Blades x10 Dragon Blades x10 Dragon Blades x5 Sisters of thorn x 5 - ally Battalion - Dragonlord Host total 2000/2000 -> 4 drops
  12. This means that we cannot tell you if your list is good, cause you don't play exactly aos. Gh19 says how to use terreins (10 each game). In my opinion, this list as it is can t be competitive cause of the lack in mobility. Plus against sylvaneth you have lost as he starts. (1 faction wood plus 1 summoned one).

  14. The thing is that you have automatic lose in some missions with this list, like everyone with objectives in the middle of the map and mage mission. (only 1 artifact). You are investing to much in non mobile models. I don't see how could you defeat a Sylvaneth army (no magic defence also)
  15. My suggestion are: You should go for ethereal amulet on the dragon as long you will always start as second and you can get focused on first turn shooting phase. Second I will drop Celestial Hurricanum and Tenebrael Shard to insert some units that can help you sitting shooters. If you get charged in the first turn you lose eveything. I suggest 30 phoenix as a human shield for the archers. Plus if you have Celestial Hurricanum you must keep everything really close and you will encounter problems in spreading up your army. Dragon's Horn is not that usefull if you play only 10 blades. Let us know after the test. You can also put a Wraithbow on the seawarden if you go Shysh
  16. I agree on the GA point, but i suggest to use Shardfist Pelt instead of Ignax Scales. You have already a lot of saves so you need to improve phoenix's offensive power. Also glade guards are not that bad as a tax. At least the do 2.5 wound each turn while sitting on the objective.

  18. You can go for Glade guads 30 Guards have the discount and can bring a large cover staying around heroes in the middlefield. Scales are good but more meta depending. Also a Phoenix stone can be good, but depends on what you think you have to fight against.

Hi guys, As an aelf lover I've elaboraetd this list for the good of the competitive Aelf style: Mixed Order 2k List: Alarielle 660 Phoenix with Anoited 320 - Dopplegenger Cloak Loremaster 140 - Strat. Genius 30x Phoenix Guards - 360 10x Phoenix Guards - 140 10x Arkanout Company - 120 10x Driads - 100 10x Driads - 100 1 CP - 50 Total 1990 - 2 starting CP. Tipically you start as second, take the middle field with a buffed phoenix, alarielle (hand of glory on top), and 30 phoenixes (and Driads also on the back of them in case).
