wich really sounds like castle 1) maybe but i feel like that is going to be a battalion instead. 2) obviously but i hope dont have to take him, i am a bit bored by dragon lords (even though vhordrai is a bit special in my heart, hope they make his spell more reliable). 3)i am extreamely hyped to hear how they work, hope they get some kind of frenzy -

sure but i always found it pretty lackluster, i am not too sad it is less usable now (although i would have preferred if they buffed it but whatever). We still should have the whole picture, maybe there are spells to increase the range tenflod etc -

I do not know how mutch i would care for deathless minions on big units though. It is going to save one skeleton every 6 or so wich is meh at best, i would rather have my general doing something useful, expecially now that they probably regen by themselves. It could still be good on elite units like blood knights where saving one wound could mean one entire model staying up and fighting for another round (and then possibly even heal) -

I missed it at first but the Kastelai bloodline bit says that their bloodknights get stronger when "blood starts flowing"... could it be they get endless legions or just some frenzy? I would onestly like both -

i feel some doubt. If the vengorian lords are an avengorii thing, then is it ok for me to use them as heroes in a kastelai dinasty? -

all i can see is Kastelai and improved blood knights, is there something else in the article? Anyway, it is only me that finds a bit weird the black knights in LoB? Is this some old lahmia lore that i dont know about or? -

i think you are mostly spot on, on the other hand i would not know about FEC being in (although i hope so) i hope so but i also think it is VERY unlikely -

so, a pair of consideration from what we saw so far: -gravesites are still in so i think we are going to have the same-ish summon mechanic -on the other hand duvalle does not have the invocation and the rumors say that undeads can recover model by killing (it is unclear if skeletons get up by themself or if they must kill people) wich is interesting and makes the army a little bit less reliant on heroes keeping up with slow units -duvalle has a 3+ save and i'd wager that vampire lords will have the same (i dont think the shield will translate necessarily in more resistance but we shall see). Also the spirit possessed sword is 2 damage now wich i would say is a decent improvement. All in all foot lords could be decently beefy -the hunger gives back d3 wound wich is very cool (expecially for bloodknights since it could imply that they have now 4 wounds) but duvalle has no chalice wich is a bit worrying. It was very swingy but you can use it in your hero phase and it could save you from a stroke of bad luck, so it is a shame -horde bonus BEGONE! Very good also considering that zombies and skellies come in 20 in the box, you have a perfectly functional unit from the get go. I wonder if skellies are a bit beefier by default now (we already know zombies do mortal wounds, so skellies could just have more attacks) -

I am halway through of making two vengorian lords for my blood dragons themed army. I was really torn bethween having them ride something or having them be the big bat-dragon centaur monster so i decided i would do NEITHER. I made them to be big sneks with the clawed wings and a blood dragon lord torso stuck on top of the snek, kinda of like morathi. I am fairly happy atm for how they are coming up -

ATTENTION EVERYONE, i might have found some lore on the Avengorii bloodline, i dont know how reliable Lexicanum is in the matter or if the article is old stuff but here it goes: The Avengorii dynasty of Soulblight Vampires are found in the Sascathran Dunes in the Realm of Ghur[1] They create Vargheist champions through the ritual of mas'ranga where the prospective champion is suspended above boiling blood until they are driven to transform into the powerful but beastial creatures and break their chains.[1] Notable Their Lords are both warriors and wizards, revelling in self-loathing. [2] Lauka Vai: Undisputed commander of the clan, she retains an aspect of noble knighthood although her dark thirst forces her to slaughter. Vargheists are the bestial heart of the curse – huge bat winged abominations that are much larger than their civilised cousins – closer to the dark mirror of the Abhorrant Ghoul Kings. They do not sip the blood of the chosen from jewelled chalices, but rather tear their prey apart and lap up the spilled blood. Should a soulblight vampire go too long without blood, he or she may revert to this form and there is no way to return – some vampires impose this as a punishment on wayward kin. Yet even these monsters can be revered – as with the Avengorii Dynasty in the Realm of Ghur whose champions undergo the mas'ranga ritual willingly. i bet my blood that the ritual is the one that turns you into a Vangorian, wich is dope as hell -

yeah that is my post Anyway it was just an example, proportions will probably not be like i represented them in the picture. I also grown to like the model even though i still am not sure if i want to ultimately convert it or not
