  1. Dang, forgot about that detail. That ruins one of the possible uses/advantages over bullgors. But you can charge one target and set up so that the Slaangors are 2" away from a unit affected by the locus. Say your KoS charges a big unit, the Slaagors charge a nearby unit or hero and then piles in to 2" if the locus activates.
  2. Fist up a disclaimer: as a non-native speaker, plese excuse the stale writing. Well I think folks are dismissing the one, two (or even three) things the Slaangors have going for them. First up: they have range 2" on all their attacks and come with 40mm bases. That means it fairly easy to get a them to "fight in ranks". That means they will be able to coordinate their charges with other units. E.G its so easy to get 2x 3 slaangors and a chariot to engage the same target at a narrow front. The second, and in my eyes the most important advantage they have over the bullgors is the way their 2" reach works with the new locus of diversion. If they (the slaangors) engage a unit with reach 1", the fiendbloods can simply not be attacked back because of the "no pile-ins". Lastly, as a slight bonus, a big herd of Slaangors can deal quite a few mortal wounds to hero hanging near a charget unit. If the Slaangors get a single model within 3" of the hero during charge or pile-in. they can roll for obsessive violence for the whole unit, not just the models within 3" of the hero and allocate the wounds to the hero, while using their attacks to target a different unit. The Slaangors are a unit that rewards tactical movement and positioning. So I´ll happily give them a go 🙂
  3. I am looking to buy 2x gyrocopters. Only interested in the models from 1993 as they are are needed for a special project. I´ll ofc cover shipping if anyone wants to sell.
  4. But it seems so much more efficiant to just field 2 keepers and then summon daemonettes. Then again, not all armies will feed us DPs at that rate... I´ll give it a try (and the *New* fiends look to so good)
  5. This is just my personal preference, but I´m a bit disappointed that the Slaanesh tome is so hero-centered. Massed infantry and cav supported by heroes and warmachines (chariots in this case) was my ideal vision of how an army should look. I might be mistaken, but I will handicap myself if I play with minimum leaders/heroes and spend the points on units? Just by theorycrafting it seems to be better to invest heavily in characters, togenerate DP
  6. Seems like I´m in good Company here. I found my old Dwarves. They are unpainted metal from 1985 - 1993/94 and I thought "Well I might just give them a spin". A buddy of mine was happy to give me my first game AoS (I play 40k and played fantasy from 1990 - until AoS 1.0). He brought a TAAC list with nighhhaunt and by turn 3 I was losing massively in points. But I learned alot and really unsure if I should keep the old grumbers or ebay them. Are we sure the disposessed are in the "Cities of Sigmar" Tome?
  7. Unless I misunderstand your post, I think you played the sword of judgement wrong. The mortal wounds on a 6+ is only vs heroes and monsters.
  8. It looks like a blast to play, but i think you have made some mistakes that will reduce the effectiveness of the build. The Dragon Ogor Shaggoths are not SLAANESH DAEMON WIZARDS and can therefor not chose spells from the lore of slaanesh. This will reduce the healig slightly. Or I might be mistaken, because I have not read the rules for the Deperaved Drove, and if that enables the Shaggoths to cast like SLAANESH DAEMON WIZARDS, then it is all good.
